Your p.o.v.

It was afternoon.

The four of us were studying together when an owl came by, holding four letters.

Harry took the letters from the owl.

It flew away, and Harry handed each one of us a letter.

It was about our detention.

It's tonight, and we'll be with Filch.

I rolled my eyes.

"This is just great!" I exclaimed in frustration and threw the letter on the table.

The boys agreed.

Hermione rolled her eyes.

"It's what happens when we don't follow school rules." She said, matter of factly.

I rolled my eyes and sigh.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, I look to see Davina.

I smiled.

"Hey. What are you doing here?" I asked her, clearly confused since I'm with the Trio.

"I came to tell you that your father knows what happened. He's not too happy about it." She warned me.

I nodded.

"Thanks for letting me know, but I'm sure I can persuade him." I told her.

She gave me a light smile and said, "Good luck."

She left.

Hermione gave me a confused look.

"What?" I asked her.

"How come she doesn't hang out with us anymore? And how do you plan to persuade your father?" She asked me.

"Her family doesn't want her to hang out with Gryffindors and for the last question. . . I have my ways." I smirked to myself, remembering how easily I got away with stuff.

"A pity they let the old punishments die. There was a time detention would find you hanging by your thumb in the dungeons. God, I miss the screaming." Filch said, evilly.

"Sadistic much?" I asked no one in particular.

The Trio giggled a little.

"What's so funny?" Filch asked.

"Nothing, just amusing how you can't hurt us the way you want." I told him.

He rolled his eyes.

"You'll be serving your detention with Hagrid." He told us.

The four of us smiled at that.

"I wouldn't be so happy. He's got a little job to do inside the Dark Forest." Filch explained to us.

"I can't wait!" I said happily.

Everyone turned to me in shock, Filch just looked disgusted.

"What? I like dark things." I told them.

We reached Hagrid, he had a crossbow with him.

"A sorry lot this is, Hagrid." Filch told him.

Hagrid sniffles in sadness.

"What's wrong, Hagrid?" I asked.

"Oh, good God, man. You're still not on about that bloody dragon, are you?" Filch asked, not caring about Hagrid's dismay.
