Third person p.o.v.
Another slow day. Like honey running down the side of a mug.
The day consisted of reading and sitting around until everyone's batteries ran low.
It was stormy and the thunder crackled like a fire.No one if only a handful of people came around on rainy days.
The silent footsteps against linoleum floors filled the sound of the quiet building.
There was also peaceful humming as the footsteps walked around."Hey, (y/n)?" Came a voice from the doorway.
(Y/n) was sitting on the couch and looked up from their book.
"Oh, hello, Freddy." (Y/n) replied and gave a sweet smile.
"Are you doing okay in here?" Freddy asked concerned.(Y/n) had found a permanent place in Freddy's room as the workers weren't going to make an extra room for some worn-out bunny animatronic as they would say.
"Yes, I'm okay, Freddy. I'm just reading away. It's your room too you know. Well, I mean it is your room." (Y/n) replied.
"I know. I just thought maybe you wanted some space." Freddy gave a shy smile, walking farther into his room and up to the bunny.(Y/n) gave the bear a look of "Really?"
"You know I like your company you big doofus." They laughed loudly as they put their bookmark on the page and closed the book laying it on the couch seat next to them before standing up and almost chest to chest with the bear.Freddy dodged his eyes around the room trying his best to look away from (y/n) gaze.
"Is there something wrong, Freddy?" They teased.
"N-no! Nothing is wrong!" Freddy remarked loudly as he covered (y/n) 's face with his paws.
This made (y/n) laugh more as they grabbed Freddy's hands intertwined their fingers together and started pushing against Freddy with all their might. This caused Freddy to lose his footing a little but catching himself and pushing himself against (y/n) playing their little game.
Both the bear and bunny were laughing at each other trying to see the stronger animal.
Your p.o.v.
Me and Freddy both knew this game was dumb but it was nice to have a companion in this world.
Someone who didn't look down on me just because I was an older animatronic. But today I pushed my luck.
Suddenly, there was a loud crack! And I was down.
Falling down with a noisy thud.
"Ow, son of a bitch!" I cursed loudly under my breath.
"(Y/n)!!" Freddy shuddered as he kneeled to me. "What happened?!"My knee had snapped out of place and was badly misshapen.
Freddy stared in fear and horror. Not moving, not saying a word.
"(Y/n)...?"
"I... I'm alright. Just get me back on the couch." I sighed quietly.
Freddy was quick and lifted me more gently than ever as if touching me would make me fall apart.Once on the couch, I checked out my knee more. The entire joint had cracked and was rusted on the inside.
The screw and bolts had snapped as well.
My leg was only connected by what outer layer of fur and metal I'm made out of.
"Man, how many times will I fall apart?" I whispered out loud.
"(Y/n). Don't say that." Freddy responded as he put a hand on my shoulder.
"But it's true, Freddy. The workers are so tired of working on me and fixing me."
Freddy put his paw on top of mine. Rubbing the top of my hand with his thumb.
"It'll be okay, Superstar."Third person p.o.v.
The following day workers were notified of (y/n)'s leg. Some workers just refused to work on them. Other workers were okay doing the job.
(Y/n) was taken down to the workshop for their knee replacement.
