I woke up to Brandy on top of me shaking me awake. "W-what, what's wrong?" I sat up fast in concern and circled my arms around her waist so she wouldn't fall back. "Nothing but you need to wake up! We have things to do." She smiled hoping off my lap and going into my closet.
I know she don't just wake me up for no reason. I checked the time seeing it was around 8:30. Yeah, she's out her mind. "B, it's early and I'm tired. I'm going back to sleep." I laid back down pulling the covers over my head. I heard footsteps approach before the covers were pulled off of me. "No, come on I have a fun day planned. Which means you need to get up and get dressed." She kissed my forehead before handing me some clothes. "I want you to wear this. Now get up!"
"This just better be worth it." I groaned grabbing the clothes going into the bathroom. After getting myself together I let her know I was ready to go. We walked out my apartment and got into the car.
"Where we going?"
"It's a surprise"
I folded my arms thinking she would tell me but she just laughed. "Don't worry you're going to love it." I nodded and she played some music.
Once we got out the car I was still confused on what we were doing. We were at some big Preserve that had multiple pathways. "Come on" she grabbed my hand tugging me down a trail. I stopped as we went further into the trail causing her to stop and look back. "If you're trying to kill me you didn't have to bring me all the way out here."
"Girl, nobody trying to kill you. Come on!" She laughed pulling me once again. As we made it to the bottom, there was a large pond with a bridge that allowed you to go across.

We crossed the bridge and I soon seen a little picnic set up. "Surprise!"
"I- when did you even have time to do this."
"I set some stuff up while you were sleep. Do you like it?"
"I love it. I've lived here my whole life and I didn't even know this existed. Thank you" I smiled as we both sat onto the blanket and she started pulling everything out. She had various breakfast foods, fruit, snacks, some games, even stuff to write, and paint.
"So, I thought we could write letters too each other that we can read in the future." I smiled at the fact that we both saw a future with each other. "I like that idea"
We spent the next 3 hours eating, playing uno, and writing our letters. By the time we were all finished it was around 1 pm. I started to pull out the paint stuff but she stopped me. "I have something else planned at 2 and I want us to be a little early so we might should probably pack up now."
