Aether was standing on one of the branches of the giant tree in which Sumeru City resides in.

He looked at the night sky from the branch. The leaves covered most of his view but it was still a pleasant view.

The fresh air, the illuminated lights from the city, the stars, the breeze swaying the leaves, and what else is there?

Aether took in a breath.

"Don't sneak up on me like that.." He said as he felt a certain someone hug him from behind and rest their chin on his shoulder.

Aether got a scoff in response.

"Hmph... You really think you can order me around?" The certain someone asked.

Aether lifted his right arm and tenderly combed his fingers through their hair. "Alright Mr. Wanderer, whats gotten you so riled up?" He said as he noticed the lack of softness in 'Mr. Wanderer's ' voice.

".."

"Wanna sit down?"

Mr. Wanderer nodded.

...

They were now sitting next to eachother, leaned up against a branch of the tree.

Mr. Wanderer's head was rested on Aether's shoulder.

They both looked at the scenery of Sumeru. They could see the big mushroom forest from there.. Haha, they realised how strong the forest's glow is!

Aether, once again, combed his fingers through Wanderer's hair to comfort him.

"Do you want to talk about it, now?"

"Met the fatui. One of the harbingers."

There was a moment of silence.

"It was his righteous highness, Capitano." Wanderer stated with a nonchalant tone.

"Did he fight you?"

"No but his presence itself pissed me off." Wanderer said and decided to add, "And also asked if I wanted to join back."

"Ah. You don't want to, do you?" Aether asked, he remembered how the fatui treats traitors.

"Yea. I don't want to." Blush appears on his face. "I want to stay by your side and be loved by you.."

Aether's mouth parted and then smiled with blush. "I will always love you" He said with his kindest tender voice. [Aether was still combing his fingers through Wanderer's hair.]

"Thank.. you" Wanderer thanked him and Aether hummed in response.

They stayed under the moonlight until one of them spoke up from their shared comfort.

"Sora." Aether said.

Wanderer was a bit confused, "What?"

"Sora. Sora is what I'm calling you." Aether looked at Sora with a smile.

"But isn't that.." he questioned.

"My name in a different language? Yes. And I want to give it to you" Aether said with confidence.

Sora was surprised. "You...."

"Me?" Aether questioned.

".."

Sora laughed. "Alright, my name is Sora now. Glad to be travelling with you, Aether"

"Glad as well" Aether smiled fondly.

They both looked back at the scenery. The sun was rising.

Sora moved from Aether's shoulders to face Aether and softly kissed him as he blushed.

Aether also blushed.

They pulled apart.

"I am madly inlove with you"

"I am too.. Sora"

..

The couple watched the sunrise and then headed to do comissions and then go on a date in the evening. At the cliché; coffee shop.
