Sunrise Confession [Wanderer x Aether]

Wanderer and Aether were searching for Rukkhashava Mushrooms and some other materials (starshroom, harra fruit, zaytun peach, nilotpala lotus, etc).

While on their little foraging adventure, Wanderer noticed something, "Hey, is that a furry?" He asked Aether, who was drinking water from a stream, spit out the water in shock of what he just heard.

"*cough* what.." he asked, trying not to burst out laughing.

"That." Wanderer pointed to a certain fella with huge bunny-like ears, green highlights on his hair and he has dark forest green eyes that are a lighter shade of green towards the bottom.

Aether looked at the fella that Sora was pointint at. "Oh. Thats Tighnari, wonder whats he doing" He mumbled.

Wanderer's interest was piqued and looked at Aether expectedly.

Aether got the hint, "Sure". They made their way towards Tighnari, "Tighnari! What are you doing?" He shouted, which in-return, surprised the furry. He did not expect to meet the Traveller ever again.

(Tighnari thought Aether lost interest in Gandharva Ville because it was boring)

"Oh? What has brought you here, traveller?" He inquired. "And who is that.."

"Well, we were foraging a bit and this is my new travel companion!" Aether said with his usual smile as he introduces his new companion with passion.

"I... see." Tighnari was happy that Aether got another companion but something is off about this 'new companion'..

"Anyways, what were you doing?"

"I was gathering some Zaytun Peaches to make a Zaytun Cake. And also some nilopala lotuses for decorating.." he whispered the last part.

"Oh, well you're in luck because we gathered a lot of Zaytun Peaches. Here, have some" Aether said with a smile.

"Oh my... thats quite a lot. How long have you guys.." Tighnari was about to ask.

"Quit asking unnecessary questions." Wanderer cut in.

"...." Tighnari hummed, "Traveler, are you sure this... he. Isn't deceiving you?" He asked.

"Wha-!"

"What- of course not!" Aether said in a bit of shock.

"Alright then.. but seriously, how in archon's name did you gather up 400 zaytun peaches!?..." Tighnari asked with exaggeration and curiosity in his voice.

"One name. Sora." Aether said nonchalantly as he put 150 zaytun peaches in a bag as well as 40 nilotpala lotuses.

"Sora? Him?" Tighnari questioned as he looked at Wanderer. "Ah- thats enough. Thank you" he says in a hushed tone to which Aether says welcome.

"And yes, him." Aether said.

Sora stood there, arms crossed and staring down Tighnari. He looked annoyed. Aether nudged Sora with his elbow, "Be nice and stop staring him down!" He whisper yelled.

Sora tsked, "..Nice. to.. m e e t. You." He tried his hardest to sound nice as he also wants to change into a new person. But old habits die hard.

Tighnari was amused at the two, ".. Nice to meet you as well Sora, new companion of the traveler." He said with a smile that annoyed Sora.

Aether decided to take precaution and do the talking for the both of them. "Ok so, what is the cake for? A birthday?"

"No. Its not for a birthday." Tighnari quickly said.

"Oh? So testing out your baking skills?" Aether inquired with curiosity. Sunlight fell over his face and hair that made it look like it was glowing or radiating more light.

Tighnari had a bit of blush on his face due to embarrassment(why so embarrassed, furry boy?) "Y-yes.."

Sora noticed the furry blushing and was confused on why one would be embarrassed with baking. I mean, its an essential skill if you want to make yourself something sweet/fluffy to eat.

"Heh, no need to be embarrassed about it! Its pretty cool that you wanna bake." Aether says in a soft voice. The glow never leaving his face or hair.

"R-right" Tighnari said, feeling oddly embarrassed.

"You okay? Your face is red." Aether asked with concern.

"You.. could say that you talking with such curiosity and assurance has me feeling a bit embarrassed..." Tighnari muttered out. He wasn't aloof to adoration but goddamn is it weird when you experience it firsthand.

"Not used to attention?" Aether presumed.

"Yes." Tighnari said.

"Well, today, you're gonna get a lot of attention!" Aether grinned.

"Huh?" Tighnari was a bit confused.

"What." Scaramus- Sora. Sora was in shock.

"As in, we'll be helping you bake!" He said. "Right?" He looked expectantly at Sora.

"......" Sora did not want to help out but if Aether asks him to... "Fine." He looked to the side as he responded.

"Okay then... well, follow me to my house" Tighnari said, he said that because they're gonna bake at his house. Obviously.

...

While walking, Aether went closer to Wanderer.

"Glad you agreed." Aether whispered as he intertwined both of their hands.

Wanderer never replied but he did squeeze his hand and Aether took it as a response.

...

They spent the morning baking a zaytun peach cake.

It was a fun experience, throwing flour at Sora's face, accidentally making too much whipped creme and having to over-decorate the cake.

Sora had to admit, it was cute when Aether was laughing at him as he accidentally threw flour on him.

But it was absolutely disgusting when Tighnari joined in with giggles and a smirk.

He's so lucky Aether is present or else... well, you know the rest.

Note: I don't know why all these snippets are fast-paced. Please bear with me if sometimes, the scenerios don't make sense.
