I began playing and suddenly I hear melodious voice humming the lyrics lightly near me All I felt was like I was floating in paradise I didn't stop playing in order to listen to the heavenly humming I put my eyes to the place where I could hear it IT WAS JUNGKOOK my heart is flying right now, I never knew he'd have this beautiful voice I felt heat travel my veins a tint of pink cheeks and my eyes widen
he looked at me rapidly and I turned away as if nothing happend -"i caught you staring at me red handed MS.Y/N" He looked at me like I did sonething wrong I messed up the whole part just because we were having a freaking eye contact for 10 seconds straight My hands stopped played and so did my heart beat went down .. -"y/n, you play perfect violin, I just wanted to talk about it to you" He asked looking concerned -"go on..I'm all ears" i replied, -"there was one of your dream music competition today right? Well I'll take you there" be said it all at once without hesitating
-"what in the actual world?? Really?" I was not expecting this in a million years -"yes, right now go get your and get ready," He nodded with a straight face I didn't know what else to do out of excitement I ran closer to him and hugged him I felt comfort in his shoulder For the first time I rest my shoulder when hugging on a GUY it felt like he's my guardian, the one to protect me
JUNGKOOK POV___ I felt that light fragrance of y/n She hugged me tight, for the first time to got the fragrance of y/n I felt victory to win over my own love I hugged her along her waist as well Seconds later she turned away to get herself ready And so did i go to get ready for y/n's most favourite event she has been dreaming of
The only way I could see her smile I put on my favourite outfit, Running my hand over my hair I waited for y/n Until I heard heels tapping on the floor -"oh no jungkook, you're dead" I muttered to myself Looking at y/n, she looked like a professional musician She smiled at me widely -"I'm ready let's go," She held my wrist hurrying to leave -"you look great y/n." I said her with slight difficulty and shyness -"oh thank you jungkook, you look wonderful too" She widen her smile with her eyes finding mine
Long later we reached the place We saw the stadium full of people with the instruments they are playing as well as singers and rappers Afterall it's a music festival
Y/n looked at me -"when is ours? Which sing am I playing? What are you doing?" She began rapidly questioning me -"chill y/n, first just practice the sing you played earlier" i comforted her confusion
I lean closer to her who was practicing with her note open I opened my sheet of note to practice too
"We laugh together, we Cry together, I guess these Simple emotions mean a lot To me..when will that day come? When I see you again, hug you And say Imissed you"
u read out the lyrics of mine muttering until I realised my main goal was to make y/n win this cause she deserves even more I saw her close her eyes every time she played the violin
I saw people with piano and few boy bands performed too Like nylon mom's favourite SHINHWA -"woah it's gonna be tough to win" i gulped in a shocked look
Until I heard -"lets welcome the next presenters Y/N AND JUNGKOOK," The anchor called out Y/n and I held hands from backstage and entered the stage I heard y/n question -"what in the world are you doing" I kept mum and decided not to answer until the end
I saw y/n tensed, She gripped her violin tight making herself comfortable on the chair next to the piano Placing her sheet on a stand on her left She cracked her hands before playing And so did i take my seat next to her with a microphone which I used as a 15 year old It was my favourite gifted by my elder brother who was a rapper I used it as a good luck
-"so let's began the awaited moment" The judge started I could hear the violin play the starting part in a melodious way All i knew was that Y/n is talented as hell
I started the lyrics a while later after her start music As I was singing i realised and missed those days with my hyung who taught me to hit high notes I was a problem in singing I just lost that touch of it for 10 years
I knew I had to get back that professional me and I gained inspiration as if saw y/n slaying her performance
People already went crazy and began fangirling and fanboying over our performance I could see the happiness in y/n's smile and eyes We finally ended sharp 5 minutes later We thanked holding hands Where people were dying and screaming their lungs out to root for us Y/n put her violin in her case and dragged me backstage -"how in the darn world could you sing so amazingly, I'm seriously amazed Mr. Jungkook, you never fail to surprise me" She began throwing up complements on me -"ah its nothing compared to how well you played, I learnt it when I was a kid from my hyung" I gave her an emotional explanation
-"all I can say is that you slayed it jungkook" She looks at me our eyes meet for a long time now -"great now, let's wait for the results" i broke the eye contact and silence -"not gonna be us for sure" She guaranteed our chances to not winning in a confident manner
