Anthea laid on her bed in her and Harmonia's room, bored out of her mind as she waited for her friends to be finished with their afternoon classes. The only reason the girl wasn't in her own class was because her professor was sick and they couldn't find a substitute in time.

Her mind had began to slip away, reminiscing about the times she had back in Olympus with her family. Her father and uncle Phil teaching her sword fighting and archery, her mother sitting down by a fireplace and reading her one of her favourite books before tricking her into playing a mind game to keep her on her toes. Or the times when her grandfather, Zeus, would occasionally let her play with his lightning bolts, only to be scolded by her grandmother, Hera.

It was those small moments that really made her miss her home. Miss her family.

But instead of being back there with her most loved ones, she was stuck here with a ton of, in her opinion, entitled pricks.

Anthea was however quickly draw out of her thoughts by the sound of a knock on her door.

"Come in!" she yelled, and almost immediately the door swung open and in strutted Evie.

"Thea, good, have you seen Mal anywhere?" the bluenette asked as she started pacing the floor.

"Not since first period, why?" Anthea sat up on her bed as she watched the girl pace.

"She was supposed to wait for me after my science lesson and after her date with Ben so we could talk about how it went, but she didn't show up." Evie told her.

"Have you checked your dorm? She may have not had the best time with Ben and just went straight there." Anthea tried to comfort the clearly distressed girl.

"Not yet. That's where I was headed but I decided to come ask you first because I know that Mal likes to come and bother you. I'll go check now." Evie said.

"I'll come with. A, I've got nothing better to do, and b, if she had a bad date with Ben then I'm sure she'll want all the support she can get." Anthea told her blue-haired friend as she got up from her bed and headed out of the room with Evie.

The two girls quickly made their way to Mal and Evie's dorm, and once the bluenette opened the door, there was no sight of Mal. They both sighed and were about to walk out of the room before Evie noticed something.

"Wait, what's this?" she questioned as she walked towards her bed and picked up a shiny gold object off it. "Wait. This is Mal's ring. The one Ben gave to her." she then noticed a note that was also laying on the bed and picked it up before reading through it. "Oh my god."

"What?" Anthea asked, but all Evie did was hand her the note and sit down on their missing friends bed.

I am so sorry, I left for the Isle.

I just left couldn't take living here anymore, it was too much stress on me.

Please don't come looking for me. And give Ben his ring back.

~ Mal

"She's gone back to the isle?" Anthea questioned.

"I feel like such a bad friend." Evie cried as she sat on her friend's bed.

"What, why?" Anthea asked as she sat down next to the girl.

"I should have been able to tell that something was wrong with her, I'm her best friend! But I couldn't and now she's gone." The bluenette said.

"Evie, it is not your fault and you are not a bad friend. And if that is the case then that also makes me a bad friend. And Carlos. And Jay. There is no way that we would have been able to tell how much this was upsetting her without her directly telling us." Anthea told her.

Evie nodded her head and quickly recomposed herself and faced Anthea.

"We should go tell Ben first. He'd want to know." she said and Anthea nodded.

The two girls quickly exited the room with Evie carrying both the letter and ring in her hand and they headed towards Ben's office. When they got there Evie softly knocked on the door before opening it a little bit and calling out Ben's name.

"Evie, Anthea, come on in." he smiled at the two and stood up. The girls sighed before walking into the office and sighing, Anthea closing the door behind them.

"Mal's gone back to the Isle." Evie breathed out and Ben's smile quickly dropped.

The two girls slowly walked towards the king and once they were in front of him Evie gave him the letter. He was about to read through it but Evie quickly stopped him by saying his name again. She then slowly handed the ring that Mal had left behind to Ben and he took it off her with a remorseful look on his face. Ben then quickly unfolded the letter and skimmed through it, picking up the important parts. He then refolded the letter and sighed.

"This is my fault." he sighed. "This is my fault. I-I blew it. She'd been under so much pressure lately and instead of being understanding I just went all beast on her." Ben slammed his hands down on his desk. "I have to go there and apologise. I have to go there and- and beg her to come back."

"Ben, the Isle is too dangerous. Especially for a King." Anthea told him.

"And you'll never find her. You need to know the Isle and how it works and..." Evie added on and paused for a minute. "You have to take me with you."

"Yes." Ben immediately agreed before realising what she just said. "A-are you sure?"

"Yeah. She's my best friend." Evie sighed.

"If Evie's coming then so am I." Anthea told them and both of them nodded.

"And we'll bring the boys because there's safety in numbers and none of us is really too popular over there right now." Evie said and Anthea nodded.

"Thankyou." Ben told the bluenette.

"But lets get two things straight." Evie said. "You have to promise me that I won't get stuck there again."

"I promise." Ben told her and Anthea nodded.

"And there's no way either of you are going looking like that." Evie told them, and the two AK's looked surprised.
