I do not own stalker nor rwby, they are owned by there respective companies

POV Sergeant (sgt)

My first few hours in this forest were .... weird to say the least, there was no radiation that the geiger counter had picked up maybe there would be some pockets of rads outside of this forest, but that had remained to be seen. Besides the lack of radiation the coloring and atmosphere of this forest was much less depressing, bland and devoid of life then the forests in the Zone with the exception of the red forest, only the zone knows how many stalkers died in the red forest because they thought nothing was in it until they where lost to the zone. This wasn't to say this forest what ever its name, was devoid of life, there was the normal wildlife, deers, squirrels all the species of bird one can think of etc, but the only mutants to be seen were these creatures in all black skin/fur with what appeared to be bone white armor and red eyes but like the mutants of the Zone they would just leave me alone, some would come up and give me a sniff and leave, some evened followed me for a bit, why I haven't the faintest idea, though they have yet to show any signs of aggression towards me, but this leads me to my final observation. Where in Monolith were the anomalys, in the zone it wasn't that hard to find an anomaly nor did it take that long to find one, so where were they, dont get me wrong not having to deal with an anomaly every 5 minutes is nice, but is getting on my nerves think that any minute now I'll end up walking into an anomaly, just like how I end up here, but that doesn't matter all that matters now is surviving this forest and maybe atonement for my sins and forgiveness from the Monolith.

And why was the moon shattered.

POV Blake

Adam was not exactly happy with the news we were getting from the communication team. Adam had just been getting orders and approval for our mission to disable an atlas trian from high leader Khan when all of the communication equipment stop working for a long minute and the team manning the station had to reconnect with lady Khan, and even then the connection was spotty at best and nothing was getting through or received, according to the specialist it would take days to patch out the errors and anomalys plaguing the system.

Adam " Get the connection back with lady Khan and tell her, me and Blake are heading out for are mission and should be back in 3 days"

WF grunt "yes sir"

And with that we where off to stop an Atlesian train.

"Are you sure the two of us will be enough to stop this train Adam?" I asked him

"I'm sure of it. do not have faith in us Blake?" he replied while asking a question of his own

"I do it's just that .... I have a feeling something bad is going to happen" I answered honestly

"I'll make nothing bad happens to us Blake, I promise" he replied

His reply still didn't erase the unease from me, ever since he started planning this mission and even before this mission, his hatred for humans would show its ugly head, and I dont how much longer I could do this, i didn't join the white fang to kill humans, I joined to fight for equality between humans and faunus. I had to leave and I had decided that this mission would be the mission where I would leave the White Fang, leave Adam, but whether or not the opportunity would present itself, well I could only hope one would present itself and I'll be able to leave easily and I wouldn't have to fight Adam.

*Timeskip*

It had been hours sence we had left the White Fang base for the Vale branch, it had already gotten dark out but that didn't matter sence us faunus can see in the dark, we would have kept moving if only there wasn't a light from a campfire and music from not completely tuned up guitar.
