The plane landed in Bangkok safely, and the passengers de-boarded in an orderly fashion. Everyone wanting to get to their destinations with as little fuss as possible, and Phayu and Rain were no different. The process of packing, arriving at the airport, and flying had long ago taken the wind out of their sails.

Nothing excited had happened on the plane, not that they  were keen on trying anything anyway. Phayu shuffled behind his adorable half awake boyfriend, and moved them accordingly as they made their way through the airport.

It took them barely any time, and because of all his previous preparations they were out of the large building, and straight into a waiting car. As much as Phayu wanted to follow Rain he had a lot of work and prep to do at home, so reluctantly he let the younger man go. Watching him as he let himself into the gorgeous house.

Then the taxi was driving down the road again, around the corner and out of sight.

Rain had barely made his way into the front door, before he was accosted by the smell of something delicious coming from his kitchen. He had noted his mother's care in the driveway, but as he made his way farther into the house the wider his smile got.

Dropping his bags near the wall he walked into the kitchen, love and affection filling his eyes as he watched the petite woman with shoulder length hair flit around the counter. Vegetables, meat, and spices lay on the long space already cut, or prepped to be cut.

He stepped up behind her as she began a task he couldn't see, and hugged her from behind enjoying the surprised hum while he breathed in deep the scent of his beautiful mom. He felt small minute tensions fall away as he hugged the person he trusted the most in this world, and felt himself acclimate to the atmosphere.

"Mae...what are you doing here?" He asked happily, excited to see her.

In the last month he hadn't been able to visit the way he usually did, and the surprise visit  was a delight.

" I  brought her 'cause I thought you might have missed her," Sky said as he exited the bathroom down the hall.

He watched as he best friend walked down the  hall, neither surprised or put off  by his sudden presence. These were his people, and they were here after a decently tiring trip; nothing could be better. He looked at his two favorite people in his life talk at the counter, and found himself wishing Phayu had stuck around.

Phayu sighed for what felt like the 6000th time, and scrubbed fingers through his hair in frustration. He had returned from his brief trip in a fairly good mood, but all of that had nose dived when he had arrived to his shop. While he was away a water pipe had broke in the shop next to his, and still water had gathered on his floor.

The floors would have to be redone, and any ink and sterile towels that touched that water had to be thrown out. Just like that he lost 5k easily, and that was in ink alone. He was close to pulling his hair out, but took a deep breathe and tried to calm his frustration.

He would have loved to go next door, and demand compensation, but he knew there was no point. The probability of getting anything was 0 to  none, and all he would get for his troubles is a hostile neighbor plus it wasn't like he wanted to move so  he let it go.

He tied plastic bags to his feet, and slogged through the dirty water beginning the process to clean everything up. At about 5 hours he was dirty, sweaty, and completely exhausted. His long hair plastered to his forehead, and neck.

The good thing was the water was gone, and he had stored any and all equipment that was salvaged in the back storage room. He patted himself on the back for having spent extra money in the beginning to have a water sealed room built in the back. One of the things he'd dipped into his trust fund for.
