Chapter 3: Geats Debut

Alan is currently sleeping.

Nora: WAKE UP YOU LAZY BUTTS!

Ren gets up with a groan. Alan wakes up and puts his glasses on.

Nora: IT'S MORNING! IT'S MORNING! IT'S MORNING! IT'S MORNING! 

Ren: Nora... please... be a bit quieter... We're awake. Good morning, Nora. Good morning, Alan.

Nora: Goooooooooooooooood Mooooooooooooooorning Ren and Alan!

Alan: Good morning, Nora... Ren...

Nora: Aren't you two looking forward to the initiation? Where's your enthusiasm?

Ren: Nora, please...

The trio goes to bathroom to brush their teeth and Nora keeps talking.

Nora: I can't believe that we've been at Beacon for a FULL 24 hours! Not that I thought we'd get kicked out or anything, I mean Ren, you're the perfect student and Alan seems like a perfect student too, and I'm... well, I'm ME! But it's just crazy, y'know?

Back in the ballroom

Alan and Ren are putting away the sleeping bags.

Nora: You know, Ren and I have been friends for SOOOOOOOOO long! What the odds we'd still be together? Well, not together-together... Not that I'm not saying that you're not handsome, you ARE handsome, but THAT'D just be weird, right? Don't you agree Alan.

Nora stares at Alan

Nora: Woah! I didn't know you had glasses! Wouldn't it be harder to fight with them on?

Alan: Hmm... I forgot my contact lens at home...

Nora: Well, we can buy some later! After the initiation of course! Ooh, nice star earrings.

Alan: Thank you.

Nora: Now, let's eat breakfast!!! I smell PANCAKES!!!

Nora dashes away

Ren: We should follow her before she eats too many pancakes and causes too much trouble.

Alan nods

Alan sees that Nora got a mountain of pancakes. Alan gets a smaller mountain of pancakes.

Ren: Two pancake lovers, huh? They are tasty, but I wish that I could've made them myself.

Alan: You cook?

Ren: Yeah.

Nora: HE DOES! And he makes the best pancakes ever! 

Ren: As she said, yes, I do... do you?

Alan: Yes... I usually cooked for me and my friends.

Ren: Do you mind if we cook together someday?

Alan: Of course.

Locker Room

Alan: You two can go without me. I still need to prepare some stuff.

Ren: Very well.

Ren and Nora leave while Alan puts on his combat boots.

???: I wonder why they're so chirpy. I guess... You okay Ruby?

Alan: They're just excited that's all.

???: You are?

Alan: Alan Taylor. Nice to meet you both.

???: Cool. Yang Xiao Long and this is my little sister Ruby. Nice to meet you.

Ruby: What she said...
