Chapter 2: Ji eun?

Jieun POV
"Ok I'm done" she says
The lady put some makeup on me and let me wear the really pretty clothes that were for her daughter
I stand up and look at the mirr-

"That's not me! It's a pretty model" I say smiling
The lady smiles
"Thank you so much Mrs..."
"Kim call me Kim" she says with a smile
"I'll send these clothes to your house ok, now you need to show your new look to the school" she says
I smile and hug her
I now and leave for school
She even gave me a new bag

While I was walking I see a little ray of light coming from the ground

I pick it up and dust all the dirt of
I can see that it's broken so I put it in my pocket so that I can fix it for him before handing it to him
I finally enter the school and everyone is looking at me
I smile and a couple of guys come to me
"Are you new here?" They ask and I laugh and shake my head
"It's me! Jieun!" I say with a smile
"WHAT!!" They shout

I made so many friends today but Chanyeol was the same as always
Always bullying me
I walk to a jewellery repair shop
"Anyeonghaseoyo, I have a necklace here that has broke can you fix it?" I say and hand the Ahjusshi the necklace
"Ooh! This one is really old so the quality is too fragile to deal with, you can try yourself though I have spare parts for sale if you want?" He says
I nod and buy the parts I need and run back home
I sit on my desk ready to fix the necklace
It took me hours and hours to try to fix this fragile little thing
When I look at the clock it's 3:00!!
I only have three hours of sleep?!!
Aish I have to get to bed now
I leave the necklace on my desk and then jump on my bed
It felt like I slept for three minutes not three hours
When I look at myself in the mirror I have black circles under my eyes
I look at the makeup bag that Kim gave me and got the...concealer?
I put it under my eyes

I put just a bit more and I look like I'm a healthy girl that slept all night
Ah I love makeup
I get ready do my hair dress up and get some toast for the kitchen and walk out the door for school
I have the necklace in my hands and I'm so happy to say that I fixed it
I'm smiling so much
I can now give it to Chanyeol
To tell you the truth ever since middle school I had a crush on him
But something happened between us and he never forgave me for it

While walking to school I start to smile because no one is bullying me anymore
I take out the neck lace from my bag and look at it closely
Maybe I should get a box for it
I quickly run to a store and get a box

While walking home I decided to take the bus since it's getting darker earlier thanks to the winter
When I arrive at the bus stop I see someone familiar so I walk closer to him

He gets on the bus and I follow
I sit next to him and he glares at me
"What do you want?" He says coldly
"Who gave you the right to sit next to me?" He says
I try to hold in my tears and give him the box
When I hand it to him he throws it out of the window

"Ahjusshi! Wait I dropped something!" I say and the bus stops
I run off and grab the box

I flop on the ground and watch the bus as it leaves me here
"My school bag was in there!" I say while my tears start running down my cheek
I stand up and look at the necklace
"I'll fix it!" I say and start walking home
It's dark out now and I have a bad feeling about being alone in the dark
I start to pick up my pace and find myself running home
When I arrive home I decide to call my mom
She's been in the hospital for treatment for her cancer
Both of us know she's not going to last long
But I want to make these last couple of months the best

She sounds very weak and I'm sure she's trying to hide it from me
"Eomma, guess what? I made new friends, and I want to visit you to show you how much I changed" I say
{"wow *cough* *coughcoughcough*"}
I'm really worried about her
"I'll be coming to visit you tomorrow ok, get some sleep" I say and hang up
I start crying and thinking what it'd be like without her
I would have no reason to live

I sit down on my desk staring at the broken necklace

Oh god I haven't slept for two days already and all because of this necklace
I get ready for school and run out the door
I'm wearing a cute dress and I think that it's a it short but oh well
While walking to school I see Chanyeol talking to Dara his ex girlfriend
"What is with you! Do you know how mean that was!" She yells
"Do you have any idea what she did" Chanyeol yells back
"Yeah! You told me multiple times! But that was in the past, it's time to let it go" she says
Chanyeol looks down
And then he shoots I death glare at Dara
Her eyes widen
"I'm never going to forgive Jieun" he says
