Chapter 6

[SC pov]

I asked Chosen who Red was where he found him. He said that red is his friend's brother that would usually help out at the adoption center by doing morning chores. And he said that he found him in the woods.

"Oh...is he okay?"

"Yeah, he'll be fine... i hope..."

"Did his parents leave him? Like ours?"

"No...That would be impossible. I've seen them. They love their kids. They couldn't have left him..."

I look at him. He was worried. About... maybe his friend..?

"Are you worried?"

"About what?"

"Your friend?"

"Oh-"

He hesitates for a moment.

"Yeah."

We were quiet for a bit.

"Can i see him?"

"Who?"

"Red."

"Uhm.. sure. But i don't think that he's awake."

"Okay! I go upstairs and remembered, I don't know where the room is.

"Uh, Chosen! Which room is it?"

"The left corner!"

I look for around for a bit and find the room.

"Okay, thanks!"

I opened the door slowly to see a person in a bed. I could hear him breathing. It was a little loud.
I got closer to him but he opened his eyes and quickly looked at me. He was scared.

"H-huh?"

"I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to scare you!"
I apologise. But he didn't answer. He just kept quiet.

"You're red right?"
It took him a while but he slowly nodded.

"I'm Second coming. You can call me second or sc!" I smiled at him.
But all he did was nod and kept quiet.
It was a little akward in the room so I decided to ask some questions.

"So...how did you come here?" I ask.

He went quiet for a moment and started speaking.

"I.. don't really remember, but... I think there were creepers..? And I think chosen found me lying on the ground and he picked me up. Or.. maybe he did? I don't know..." Red responded.

"And..where are your family?"

He opened his mouth yo say something but he stopped and closed it. I realised that i must have asked something wrong. But before i could apologise, he said;

"I...I think they're propably dead..." tear started to fall down his cheeck but he quickly wiped it off.

"I'm sorry!! I didn't mean to make you cry!!"

"It's okay...sniff I am a crybaby anyways... atleast, that's what I think I am..."

"Hey...don't say that..! I'm sure you'll be a brave and great person!"

He looked at me and smiled. "Thanks..."
