——————————————————Headlights of the wrangler vehicle barely show the outside due to the amount of fog that rolled in unexpectedly. As you got closer to your destination, the fog blew away with a faint sound of a chopper in the distance.
The tips of wooden fences passing by seem to slow as the vehicle came to a halt, accompanied by muffled voices that became more clearer as they approached you.
The headlights were switched off and the sound of gravelly footprints surrounded the jeep.
You take a deep breath, tightening your grip on the rifle you held in your hand.
"Ready?" a voice spoke up.
A pair of eyes laid on you through the rearview mirror as a gloved hand reached up to adjust it.You nod.
"Good, theres no turning back now"
The door to your left was opened and you step out, catching yourself before you get the chance to fall because of the unexpected height difference of the vehicle to the ground.
"Good to have you here" A welcoming tone was accompanied with a nod in which you returned.
"Good to be here Price" You say.
You continue to take slow steps towards the group of men, all in which have their backs facing towards you.
It counted 5 total, although Price said there would be 6 with you and Alejandro included.A hand slaps onto your shoulder and nudging you into the body slightly.
"Hola amigos" Alejandro's voice called out and it drew the attention of the men, from him down to you.
"Vargas" one spoke out.
"Sir" said another, with a nod.
You adjust the plain white bandana that you have hanging around your lower face so that only your eyes were visible. Your freckles spread faintly around your eyes and onto your forehead, a small slit in your eyebrow where a scar lays and your panda like eyes paired well with your dark brown eyes.
"Lieutenant Spirit will be joining Task Force-141"
Captain Price began."he specializes in missile recognition as well as other machinery which would prove essential to our team"
He took a few steps in front of the men, "Wheres Ghost?" he turned to one of his men.
"We don't need him, he will just be a liability"
A voice came from one of the many army vehicles that surrounded the chopper. It was a heavy British accent but you couldn't pin-point the region.
"Does he even have any combat skills?"
The man walked out with his gun resting upward on his shoulder.
He had a broad build and was about 6'4, arrogance seemed to float in the air around him.
