Chapter two

NINE MONTHS LATER
Nine months have passed and over the past month Hana and I have been close. I went over to her house, where her brother and I had a few encounters and it was quite awkward. Ever since Liam and I kissed we haven't talked much, we still say hi to each other and he still comes to my house when his parents are fighting and we never talked much about what happened in the basement.
ONE WEEK LATER
It was finally summer which meant no school,I'll be staying home. In the summer my mom was still working, which meant that I always stayed in this hell of a town. Hana's family went on vacation like everyone else, so i can't even say l'll go to Hana house, so I guess I'lI be all alone this summer again. Even though Liam lives next to me, I didn't know if he was here or not but I didn't care because it's not like I liked the guy or anything, even if I did it not he would feel the same way about me.
One afternoon I woke up feeling great and excited for the day. I glared at the window to see if Liam was there but what I saw was even worse. I saw Liam in his room with some girl. I was a little bit hurt that the girl was not me but also I didn't think that he was that type of guy. Ever since we kissed I have been thinking about him non-stop,| guess you can say I grew a big crush on him.
It is slowly getting dark and I get a call from mom telling me that she won't make it home tonight and I tell her it okay and she hangs up the phone. As I'm about to head upstairs, I hear my doorbell ring. I went downstairs to check it out. I did not believe my eyes when I saw that it was Ash,what was he doing here I wondered. "Can I come in?" he asked. "Sure," I said. May I ask why you are here and how you know where I live; "Hana told me, he said, "of course" she did I whispered. "What can I do for you?" I asked, "Hana asked me to check on you" he said and "you decided to come around this time" I asked him, "yep" he replied. A growl we heard and we both looked at each other, "are you hungry" he asked me,"no" I replied but deep down I was starving. "What do you have in the fridge?" he asked me "idk" I replied to him, "I'll make you something to eat," he said to me.
I went and took a shower and changed into my pajamas. I went downstairs rushing because it was the first time a guy made me food and I didn't know what to expect.
As I entered the kitchen Ash was placing the food onto the plate, looking at him from across the room he looked so attractive. At that moment I had so many thoughts, I don't know but lately I have been feeling a little different. I mean I am fifteen there is nothing wrong with me feeling that way.
"What are you looking at?"he asked me, oh nothing. I sat down at the table and the food looked good,he made pasta. "How did you know I liked pasta?" I asked him idk he said."I really enjoyed the pasta and thank you" I told him as he left. I smiled as I saw it getting smaller and smaller as he left. That night not only Liam was on my mind but Ash also.
FOUR WEEKS LATER
For the past four weeks Ash has been coming over to cook food, i don't know why but I like it. Ash was the last person that I thought I was going to spend the summer with and I have no other friend beside Hana. Liam and I still haven't talked even though we live right next to each other,I try not to think about him much.
For the weeks Ash has been super flirty and the reason why I haven't made the first move yet is because I knew I wasn't his type. He is usually with a white girl or a mixed girl that are super pretty and I was none of that.
Growing in this town with not many black kids like me was really hard and I was never anyone type or never fit in.l'm being delusional, there is no way he would like me and I could care less and the only guy I like is Liam. Like usual I make my way downstairs in my pajamas. Tonight he prepared chicken Alfredo, which was my favorite. "You like it" he asked, "are you kidding me i love it" i told him, he smiled. As we are on the couch talking he's looking at me a certain way that just makes me want to kiss him. "Why are you staring at your lips" he asked, "no l'm not" as i made my way to leave, he suddenly graded my arm and pulled me closer to him making me fall on his lap. "Can I kiss you?" he asked me, I nodded at him, he gently graded my face and kissed me and it felt like heaven. He's touching my thighs as I'm on top of him,and suddenly he pulled me closer to him.
Ash picked me up and made way to my bedroom, as he put me on the bed I asked myself if this really about to happen but at that moment he put a blanket on top of me and said good night. Confused, I grabbed him and told him to stay and sleepover."Are you sure?" he asked "I'm sure" I replied. He made his way into my bed and he hugged me which was unexpected and we fell asleep just like.
The next morning was everything for me but as I looked at the window all i thought of was Liam. Ash was staring at me with a smile on his face, which made me nervous.
He suddenly kissed on the lip and got up, "where are you going?" I asked as he made his way to the door *leaving but i'll be back tonight promise" he replied. He came back that night and the night and after, we basically spent the whole summer together and I didn't know what we were.
SOPHOMORE YEAR
School was starting again and I was not excited because it was not like last year was such a great adventure. I had Hana this year again and we are not going to talk about it. What happened between her brother and I.
The more i saw Liam and the more I like and next I knew I was falling for him just because of a stupid kiss.
