Chapter 24 - The beauty of a flower

"I mean it Y/n it's not a problem, i kinda like it like this." Drista says as she puts the braid Y/n made over her shoulder trying to convince her that she likes the dead flowers in her hair. "I swear Drista you don't have to pretend you like it, i don't mind fixing my mistake." Y/n explained.

A groan of annoyance escaped Sapnaps mouth, "They've been at it for thirthy minutes now can we like, move on already?" He said tapping his feet impatiently. "Twenty actualy but yeah, they should move on to a different subject." Punz corected him still sitting on the chair he had been sitting on all day. It's been a hour since Tubbo and Sapnap finished there game of chess, after there little argument they continued to play with the rules according to the official rule book that Punz decided go get. The game ending in Tubbo winning and Sapnap being a bad loser, claiming he hated the game anyway and that he went easy on him because he is a child. Tommy and Eryn have yet to come back from raiding everyone on the smp, so they were all doomed to sit out an other argument.

"But i'm not lying, i mean it! I like it, it kind of reminds me of my b-.." Drista yells but then cutting herself off before finishing her sentence.

"What were you gonna say?" Y/n asked already having a gut feeling what the answer was, just wanting Drista to confirm that feeling. "And you better not say 'its nothing' or 'i forgot' and don't you dare come with 'it's not important' because it clearly is to you." Y/n said with a stern voice knowing Drista would tell her any of these things.

Drista let out a sight, "It reminds me of my brother.." she exclaimed. Punz got curious now and wanted to know why. So he asked her, "How so?" gaining a punch in his right arm from Sapnap who had during all the commotion made his way over to where Punz was sitting and didn't want this stupid argument to take longer because of that question.

Punz glanced over to the impatient ravens, then looked back at Drista as she started explaining, "Well.. Dream used to be such a beautiful person, he loved and cared for everyone." Her face lit up as she was talking about how her brother used to be.

But then her face dropped and tears started to form in her eyes as she started thinking about what her dear older brother has become, a 'monster'.

"But now.. Now he seems as if he lost all the beauty he used to hold, he seems dead, not caring about others and having nothing to love." she said with tears slowly falling from her eyes on to her cheeks, she was glad she was wearing her mask so none of the people she looked up to could see her like crying over something as stupid as a brother.

"Who would want to live such a tereble life!" she yelled as tears fell down even faster and her crying could be heared.

Tubbo was the first to move as everyone was still in shock of her sudden mood swing . "Drista that's beautiful.." he said kneeling down to be around the same level as the crying girl, though he was already pretty small so it wasn't really needed. He held her hands as a reassurance and looked at the soulless dots on her mask that wear hiding her crying once. "Don't worry we are all here for you." the boy said with a reassuring smile. Sapnap soon joined along side Tubbo resting his hand on Drista shoulder, causing her to look up at him.

"What Tubbo said. I know it must be hard losing your blood related brother but just know, I am just as much of a brother to you as Dream is. I've always been there besides Dream to help you. So remember, even if he lost his ways, i'll be your brother and be there for you." Sapnap said in a helpless attend to cheer her up.

Drista looked over at Y/n, who was now smiling at her. Then looked at Punz, he was doing the same. She looked at Sapnap and then to Tubbo again, they were all there for her.


Punz then opens his mouth and said, "Drista, me and Y/n both know how you feel we both literally and figuerly lost your siblings, do we know what your going trough and it's hell having to loos your family at young age. So if anything is wrong, just come to us."

Y/n who had now walked over to Drista as Tubbo and Sapnap were standing next to her. Her hand moves to Drista mask and moves it to the side, "Don't feel ashamed to cry over your family, you should be proud your able to feel sad over them. This means you atleast had a great time with them, not lots of people have good memories of there family." And with that Drista cried harder then before, letting everything that boiled up turn in to tears and sobbing.

Y/n asked everyone to leave the room and so they did, except Punz. Who insisted on staying because Drista felt like his responsibility.

Y/n sat down on the bed and took both her and Drista mask off, laying them on the night stand. Drista hugged her tight and was stil crying. No one said a word, the only thing that could be heard was Drista's crying and sniffing. Y/n let her cry and hug her just like the other times that Drista would burst in tears about her brother. And just like every other time, Drista had end up crying herself asleep on her. But she didn't mind.

"Punz, you can go home. I'll look after this little one for tonight." In whispered to Punz. "Are you sure?" he asked not minding to having to take care of the child. "Yes. Now go. Have fun with the boys or something, jeez man." Y/n huffed. After that they said there goodbyes and Punz left.

Around midnight Y/n gets woken up by a whisper from the mysterious clay guy she met, though she was nice to him, she didn't trust him. He acted weird and suspicious when they met.

"Clay: Hey, would you like to meet up? I'm bored."

Y/n looked at Drista then send back, "Sorry, can't i'm doing something important." Then she closed her eyes and wanted to go back to sleep only to get an other whisper.

This time the sender being her own dear twin brother.

"Technoblade: I won't be comming your way to help you fight a teletuby but instead i'm gonna do soms more investagasion about the crystal. So don't count on me visiting your pitty party. Do me a favour and tell Tommy to stop stealing my loot and Tubbo that i am not babysitting on Micheal. And don't bullshit me with that they don't know who you are, you are to predictible so i know you told them already. Anyways good luck i guesse."

Y/n sighs and reads what he sends her, then just gold Techno a "alright" to tired to realize what he said she decided to reread it in the morning and just go to be and so she did.
