Forgotten Blood

Chapter 30 - If the sky comes falling down...

Y/n and Techno are walking to find a place where Y/n can stay. They eventually don't recognize their surroundings anymore, everything is white. Snow is covering the ground. It's been complete silence during their hike, not an awkward or uncomfortable one though.

Suddenly Techno says, "This is a good place, I think" Y/n looks at him and nods. She still hasn't fully processed what happened earlier with her family. 

After some time finding a cave to stay in for the time being, Y/n spoke for the first time after the incident. Her voice sounded scared for what the world had in store for her, "Hey.. Brother.." Techno made an 'eh' noise telling her to say what she wanted to, "There's an endless road to rediscover.." she said thinking about the new place they traveled to.

Techno looked at his Twin who seemed to be afraid because she had just lost everything she knew and loved, her home and family. "Hey sister, you know that water's sweet but blood is thicker"

Y/n just felt as if there was nobody there for her anymore. Techno noticed and gave her a hug to comfort her, "Y/n, if the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do"



~Time skip~ ~age: 20~

Y/n and Techno are sitting in their house, Techno is reading a book while Y/n is writing down stuff in her journal. Techno had lately started saying stuff about the world and people like, 'untrustworthy', 'greedy', 'power hungry', and 'violent'. what made her start to question, 'Does he believe people can be good?'. The only way to get the answer of that is to ask him, so she does. She stops writing and turns to her twin brother.

"Hey brother?" she spoke in a sweet tone. Techno doesn't look up from his book but hums, telling her he's listening. "Do you still believe in one another?" Techno looked up from his book and then at his twin sister. He knows she has a different way of seeing the world. It's something she shares with Tommy and Tubbo, all if they looked for a positive outcome, while he, Wilbur, and their dad looked at the world how it is, a cruel and corrupted place. He didn't feel like arguing with her about something like that so instead of answering, he returned her a question, "Hey sister, Do you still believe in love? I wondered this for a while now"

He had been thinking about the past lately, her childhood was spent without parents, her siblings, or friends. So he was worried it might have left her to have some trauma after their family had forgotten her.

She saw the worry in his eyes, even though he didn't like speaking about his emotions, Y/n always knew how he felt. "Of course I do!" she giggled. "I still have you, and therefore I'm reminded of what love feels like. Just like we always used to say, if the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do" She smiles.



~Time skip to the first time Techno left Y/n alone in their house~


"Are you sure that you're going to be ok? If you want you could come along like you always do." Techno said. Y/n had been traveling with him every single time, but always hiding in the shadows and when moving they did that underground. Y/n wasn't used to this side of Techno but she understands why he is worried, ever since she's been forgotten she had panic attacks at night, lately they've been less bad and less frequent. So you decided that you wanted to say home alone.

"I'll be fine, my last panic attack was 2 months ago. I'll be alright" She said pushing her brother to the rowboat he uses to get to the SMP. "But what if I'm far from ho-" Techno said before being interrupted by Y/n, "I'll hear you call trust me."

He continues to protest, "And what if you lose it all again, and you start panicking?" She looks at her brother just wanting him to have faith in her. "you will help me out" she said, handing him his stuff, "How?" he looks at her confused. "You'll send me messages," she says

"But what if y-" he began again. "I'll be fine, 'cause if the sky comes falling down.." she said smiling. "..for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do. Fine" Techno finally agreed, stepping in his boat.

They can't even remember when the first time was that they used that quote, it just became the quote that they both loved.

This sentence has become a line of reassurance. They always told each other this, so they both knew they weren't in it alone, anything they did, they did together. They are twins after all.
