Chapter 29 - Purple

Punz's pov:
"I swear Sapnap. Just face it, you aren't gonna win from Tubbo." I huff. from my usual spot in Y/n's room. Sapnap challenged Tubbo for a rematch because he lost last time. Eryn is lying on the bed, he refused to sleep the past few nights and he still is refusing to go to sleep. He is saying that he isn't tired and wants to hang with Tommy or something, I don't know and frankly, I couldn't care less if he didn't want to sleep. If the kid wants to wear himself out till he collapses, then let him be. He'll learn from the experience, as long as he doesn't die he'll be fine in my opinion. But Sapnap on the other hand does seem to think that it's important. Because he forced him to lie down and gets some sleep. He even told him, that he can't go hang out with Tommy before he takes a nap.

Now that I think about it, the gremlin himself is nowhere to be found. I think he is either looking for Y/n or with her. As far as I know, none of us has seen her all day.


I also brought Drista back home when I had my last meeting with Dream. I don't like the feeling of him taking care of a 15-year-old girl, not with his reputation of how he treats minors. Not with me knowing, that he sometimes locks her in her room to prevent her from running from home. And I don't think that I shouldn't have let her go back home with a man like him.

There is just one ̶m̶i̶n̶o̶r̶ major reason why I had to..

Their family is, well.. complicated.. That seems to be a repeating pattern in this world, families being complicated in all sorts of different, unique, weird, and messed up ways.

In their case, the main thing breaking them apart is power. Their dad is the god of creation, and because of this, most of his kids hold the power of the gods, Drista is the goddess of destruction.

Now the reason why I had to bring her back is that she is 15 meaning that she is still a minor. That means that she has to live with her parents or a responsible adult. an

Her mother is missing, her dad doesn't care enough to be home and be a good father, and she doesn't even know she has another brother. Dream is 21, leaving him as the only blood-related option left and making him, her legal guardian. Of course, we could go to court and try getting one of us to be her guardian. We would just have to bring up the fact that he is mentally unstable and dangerous.

If Dream didn't have control over Sapnap, me, and even George, then believe me, we would have done that alone time ago.

I now also have an idea I don't even know who to work with, Dream or Tommy. Like, hear me out, Dream is crazy but he pays me, and as a mercenary that's what you're supposed to listen to. But Tommy on the other end is trying to kill Dream once and for all for selfish reasons, his music discs. Though if his plan works, not that it will cause Dream has it all planned out with a backup plan. But theoretically, if his plan worked, then all minors are safe. Most of those poor teens and children are mentally or physically abused due to Dream. So if this would work the biggest threat will be gone and they could live their childhood like a child should.

"Punz, can I go hang out with Tommy now?" Eyn whispers to me hoping to get permission from me, to go against what Sapnap told him. "Sorry buddy, but I can't help you. You shouldn't have run off with Tommy the past few nights and just gone to bed. Then Sap wouldn't be forcing you to sleep right now."

He groans at my response and lays back down. He is a good kid, but he copies people's behavior a lot. One time when we were kids he saw Sapnap and my training and not even a week later he wanted to join our training every day. When going into fights he takes the same over-confident personality as Sap always does. Ever since he started hanging out with Tommy he started being more impulsive, He already was but at least he used his brain. Not to mention that he is just as caring as Dad.

"Eryn, I promised dad to take care of you and I'm planning on keeping that promise. You can go hang with Tommy after you take a nap." Sapnap said his head turned to Eryn and me who were behind him. "It's your turn, fire troll," Tubbo said with full enthusiasm to alert Sap that it was his turn, making him look back and stare at the board intensely. After about two minutes of him looking at the board, he would grab his king and move it.
