'What?' 

'Geet are you mad?'

'I didn't have anything to say Pinky'

'But why did you lie?'

'I had to. To save my job! I have heard that it is discriminatory to fire a pregnant woman.'

'But still! you could have told a reason which is practical.' 

'I don't know Pinky. I was so helpless Pinky.'

'So what was his reaction?'

'He stared at me for a while with a shock. Then he said alright & asked to meet him after lunch' 'I'm scared Pinky. His reaction was confusing'

'God Geet! now what?' 'You are in a big trouble.'

'I know right. But you know how difficult it was for me to find a job & if he fires me I don't have any other alternatives. That's why I wanna be in this job no matter how much irritating he is.'

'I understand Geet. But what will happen when the rest of the staff gets to know about it?' 'They will be shocked & will definitely ask about the father of your baby!'

'Uh oh But I'm not pregnant for real'

'You stupid! but you have already told sir that you are pregnant even it is a lie!'

'Geet! you know how many gossip mongers are there in our office. What about your reputation? They will ruin it!'

'Pinky don't stress me out'

'I'm not stressing you out! I'm showing you the reality. If they gets to know that you lied, the same thing will happen.'

'So what are you suggesting me to do?'

'I don't know Geet. You have messed up everything!'

'I'm not gonna tell sir or others that I lied.'

'What? Seriously? But you are not pregnant Geet!'

'I can pretend. Can't I?'

'Geet! what's wrong with you? How can you do that?'

'I can! I'm better off pregnant. But I need your help'

'Gosh I don't know what are you gonna do! Okay I will help but you need to be careful Geet!'

'I will Pinky' 

I later realized that I've done a big mistake. I could have said something practical like Pinky said but I didn't have any alternatives. I came up with the best answer I got in my mind. How to prepare for this fake pregnancy? God please forgive me for lying but please give me strength to face the circumstances.
