~Of course it was him. He grabbed me and pushed me onto the bed. He pulled out his dagger and brought it to my neck, so precisely that if either one of us moved the dagger would cut me.

  - Look at me. He shouted.

Before I opened my eyes, in addition to the dagger creating pressure on my neck I also felt his full weight on my body. He was on top of me, probably ready to kill me.

- Why did you come?
He asked, as the pressure from my neck eased slightly and thereby enabled me to speak more easily.

  - I wished to speak to you.

  - Now, do you know what time it is? What was so urgent?

  - Nothing, it doesn't matter anymore.

He did not respond, only hummed. The tension grew as we lay down on the bed, but why? Why did he have such an impact on me? He did absolutely nothing nice but I felt something. While we were in that position, he scanned me.

- Would you be so kind to get off me?

He didn't answer, because there was no need. He did as I asked him. I lifted the top of my body and stayed in a sitting position on my bed. We just looked at each other. I could sense that he felt embarrassed. So I spoke.

- I will not tell a soul.

He sighed in a relief.

- I just want to know one thing.

  - And that is?

  - Do you love her?

  - Aemma, people can fuck without love.
He said that without thinking and with confidence.

He left me stunned my cheeks started to turn red. I've never had a conversation on that subject, except with Ella. But she didn't tell me how the act was performed, only how beautiful it felt and that the feeling of love was an important factor during the act. I wasn't even interested because I never liked anyone enough to think about it.
In that moment, I remembered what I witnessed and now that he said this, he tickled my imagination. He noticed that I was confused and embarrassed, so he smiled, and said:

- I guess we'll leave that topic for another time.
Before he left my quarters he said quietly:

  - Thank you, my princess.

I knew what he meant. And with that he was gone. Once again he left me with a burning desire of wanting him to stay.

It's been a few days since I last saw him. He avoided me. By bringing that woman to his quarters he broke several royal rules. If someone else had caught him it would have been a great shame. He was very dedicated to his title of prince and was considered to be the person who did everything that was asked of him the best. He served his king well, but that was all he had no respect for him as a father because he wasn't that to him and his siblings.

It was true, the king truly only loved his first daughters and worked hard around them to raise them well. When he became a father to Aegon, Aemond, Helaena and Daeron he lost interest. It wasn't that he didn't like them, he was only hurt after the death of his wife. But that was no excuse, they deserved to be loved.

I thought to myself it's a good thing he's avoiding me it gave me time to think and focus on other things. I finally visited my grandsire. It was hard for me to see him in such a state. When he saw me and recognized me he cried. He told me I was just like my grandmother. I didn't stay long because I could see that he was in pain, so I had to withdraw. It pains me because I saw that I will soon lose the person I love... again.

As I made my way out, someone called my name:

  - Princess. Spoke Alicent.

  - Your Grace. I bowed.

  - Just the person I wanted to see. I want to inform you that your family will visit us soon.

  - Really?! I said with an excitement. Is there any particular reason, or they just miss me?

  - Unfortunately, there is a reason.
