chapter 3

     Kelsey's (POV) 

         I can't believe tom just kissed me and I kissed him back. What the hell was I thinking i liked Nathan but i also liked tom. They are two completely different people with different personalities but i had a date with nathan coming up and here i was making out with his best friend. I felt like i was betraying nathan so i pushed tom off of me and ran out of the room down the stairs and out the front door and just ran to the park that was close to the house. I was just sitting there hiding when i felt someone sit next to me. I looked over and saw nathan with a small smile on his lips and i looked away crying cuz i felt guilty for what just happened with tom. 

    Are you ok kelsey nathan had asked me and all i could do was shake my head no and look down crying. Tom kissed me i blurted out and i kissed him back but now i feel like shit because i like you nathan i really do but i also like tom and i dont know what to do i feel so guilty and bad and i just had to tell you so you wouldn't find out from someone else. I'm so so sorry nathan i really am. Its ok Kelsey I saw you guys kiss and it hurt me but I'm just glad you could admit it to me and i would like to still take you on that date that you agreed to if you want to go that is. He smiled at me and all i could do was nod like a crazy person cuz he still wanted to go on that date and i was just so happy and excited that i kissed him. he was shocked at first but started kissing me back and i felt him smile. This kiss felt different than the one from tom. I felt explosions in this kiss but toms felt like i was kissing my brother and i dont even have one. I couldnt help but to smile and slowly pull away. Wow is all he could say and i just nodded in agreement. 

       Did you feel something in that kiss i asked him shyly afraid of what he might say. He nodded and said that he felt like bombs were exploding and i smile and told him i felt the same thing and he smiled back at me. We sat in silence for a few minutes before i told him that we should be heading back to the house and he nodded and helped me stand up. I brushed the dirt of me and we walked hand in hand back to the house in a comfortable silence until a car pulled over and i froze in fear as i saw my mom and her boyfriend get out of the car and came closer tp me.

         Well well well what do we have here my mom said. I just hid behind nathan and whispered for us to run when i say. he slowly nodded to me that he understood what i meant. Kelsey i want you to get into that car right now or there will be a servre punishment later robert said. I shook my head and told them no. Im 18 i dont have to go back with you and i will not fot go back there if i have to i will file a police charge against you both for child neglect child abuse and sexual abuse if you do not leave me alone i told them in my srtongest voice. Oh yeah like they will believe you your just a slut my mom said and i stood there in shock until i felt nathan grab my hand and squeeze it. Good-bye mother good-bye bob i want nothing to do with you both and if i see you again i will go to the police and with that i told nathan to run. We ran around the corner and cut through peoples yards to get back to the house.

      We got back to the house panting and out of breath and went inside and locked the door behind us. What was that kelsey!?!? Nathan yelled at me and i shrank back in fear and he noticed. Im sorry kelsey but what was that and why did you tell them you'd do to the police and i realized what he was asking me. I took a deep breath and by this point all the boys were in the room and i was frightened to tell them. Max must have noticed because he spoke up right than. you don't have to tell us if you dont want to and i couldnt help but to smile at him. Thank you max but i have to tell you incase im with one of you and they show up again. Incase who show up again siva asked this time. My mom and her boyfriend i replied and they gave me a knowing look.

       Me and nathan were on our way back from the park where he found me sitting and as we walked my mom and her boyfriend showed up and i threated to go to the cops if they didnt leave me alone. Why would you have to go to the cops Jay asked me. well it started once mom got her boyfriend 5 years ago and from that point on i had been raped by bob who is my moms boyfriend she neglected it and let it happen and i had been beat by mom and thats why i threatened her with going to the police.

      By this point in time i was bawling my eyes out having finally told someone and i felt relived that i had finally said something. How come you never when to the police before tom spoke up and asked. they threatened that if i go to the police than id be found dead the next week and i was terrified that would happen so i have always kept my mouth shut.

       Few hours later.

             Kelsey why dont you get ready for our date nathen said walking into my room. I looked up and smiled ok i'll be ready in a hour do you want me to dress fancy or casual i asked him. Fancy he replied and left my room. I hoped in the shower washed my hair and got out. I brushed my hair and blow dried it than i turned on my straightener and let it get hot while doing my make-up while being in my towel still. once i put on my eyeliner and and pink and purple eye shadow i began to straighten my hair. Once that was finished i walked to my closet and pulled out my pink dress with white polka dots and slipped it on and zipped it up. Next i put on my pink high heels and walked down the stairs to find nathan finished and waiting for me. I walked over to him and lightly kissed his cheek and told him i was ready to go. I saw tom frown but quickly cover it up with a smile and told me and nathan to have fun and to be back by 12. I chuckled and we walked out and got in his car and headed to the restaurant.
