chapter six

Kelsey's (POV)

I was floating above my body just looking at myself sleep. What was going on? Why was I like this? What happened to me? I continued to float higher and farther away from myself. I was scared. No one was around and I didn't know where I was going. When I finally stopped moving some one was there to greet me. Who are you I asked this mysterious person. she just smiled at me and told me to follow. I was a little unsure about it but did what I was told.

As we walked the scene started to change. First we were at the hospital the day I was born and I was wondering what we were doing here when the scene shifted again and I was 8 years old when my mom started dating again and on some nights she would bring them home and they would sneak in to my room. The scenes shifted up until when I was shot by my mom. And I looked so shocked and scared that my mom would do such a thing to me

This mysterious girl looked at me and told me that I was going to live. I was so happy but something felt odd about this situation. Why did you show me my life in flashes than? I asked her. She just looked at me and smiled she told me things will get better and tht i will live a long happy life. I was so shocked to hear my future that I was at a loss for words.

I started to float back. Back to my body. Back to reality that has haunted me for years. When I woke up nathan was sleeping in a chair by my side so I lightly grabbed his hand and slowly woke up. Hey Kelsey how are you feeling. Like ive got shot in the stomach. I joked with him. He chuckled and smiled a soft warm smile at me. You should get some rest now sweetheart you had surgery and you need to sleep Nathan told me. I nodded and closed my eyes and slowly drifted off back to sleep

Nathans (POV)

Im so glad she is okay. I was so worried she wouldn't make it but when the doctor told me she was going to live I broke down crying I was that happy. I came back the next day and she was still out. It wasn't until later that night that she woke up. I was so happy to see her beautiful eyes and hear her soft sweet voice.I have missed her and I'm so glad shes back with us. I love her so much it would.kill me if I ever lost her. she just feel back asleep but tomorrow when she wakes up ill talk to her about pressing charges against her mother for attempted murderer. I hope she does it because I have a feeling if she don't her mom will try again until she succeeds. I cant let that happen to her either.
