*Author's Note*
I so excited that I brought Analeigh to the story. I changed what it was supposed to be about because it was too depressing. I hope you enjoy!!
Analeigh's POV
I am so thankful to be adopted! Having Cassie as my sister and Frankie as my friend is the best feeling! I don't think I would've chosen any other family to live with. I feel like Cassie has helped me get over my parents death and I've helped Cassie get over her depression.
Now my first day going to school was the best. I met new people. People accepted Cassie and Frankie (or Francine) and I have a new crush. His name is Travis Gilmore. He was the cutest guy I have ever seen in my life. He showed me around the school and I enjoyed that the most because it was a really big school! He was really funny and I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. I mean how could I not?
He has amazing Brown eyes that sparkle when it catches a glare, brown hair that was somewhat like a Mohawk and shaved on the sides. He was skinny, had a cute style, and not to mention he was a little muscular. He was funny and he seemed so interested in talking to me. I'm not saying I'm not an interesting person but I didn't have many friends in my old school just because I was different. Many guys liked me but didn't want to be seen with me. Makes no sense right?
I feel like Travis was different than other guys. He was sweet and he went out of his way to help me but it was kind of a coincidence. Here let me show you why.
*FLASHBACK*
As soon and Cassie, Frankie and I got out of the car my mouth dropped to the ground. This school was HUGE! There were so many people casually walking around like nothing was going on. How was I, a young city girl, supposed to get used to a school that looks like a college campus?
"Uh... Analeigh? You might wanna keep your mouth closed before you catch flies," Frankie giggled.
I closed my mouth and continued to walk towards the school (campus lol). When we walked in, I almost fainted. It was like being in a museum! Let's just say I hope I never move in my life!! As we walked through the halls we stopped.
"Here is where you need to be. Do you need help getting to your classes or do you want to do it on your own," Frankie asked.
And like the stubborn child I am, I said "No". As they walked away, I tried to find my way to classes but It just ended up as a nightmare. When I left looking my class for the fifth time, I bumped into someone. I dropped my pencils and notebooks and it was totally embarrassing.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to run into like that," he said. He picked up my stuff and handed it to me. That gave me enough time to admire his gorgeousness. I bit my lip and blushed.
"Eh hem... I'm Analeigh. I'm a Sophomore," I said shaking his hand.
"I'm Travis, Travis Gilmore. I'm a sophomore too. I know I just randomly rammed into you but you're gorgeous", he said smiling at the ground. I could tell he was blushing and it was cute. I couldn't believe he said that to me.
"Wow... Thanks! I think your pretty too. I mean... Ugh," I said. That's embarrassing.
"Haha... I know what you mean. Are you new? I haven't seen you around here lately," he said nervously.
"Well actually, I am. I got adopted by Cassie Henderson's parents... Weird right," I said awkwardly.
"I don't think it's weird at all. Cassie is actually really cool. We used to be really good friends in middle school and then she became a scene.... Do you need any help looking around," He asked with a grin on his pretty face. It made me smile...
