Frankie's POV
So Sunday wasn't as great as I thought It was going to turn out. Since we didn't have any plans for the rest of the day, Cassie and I decided to go to work that afternoon.
As we parked our car, we saw a huge crowd of people surrounded by it. And that's when it hit me... We were supposed to open the store today! Cassie and I looked at each other for a split second before we ran into the huge crowd of people and unlocked the door. The flood of people filled the whole store and we made our way to cash registers. Many people seemed to look aggravated. Some people got so impatient that I even had to get into a 5 minute argument with them. Cassie can't stand impatient people, so you could probably imagine how pissed she looked.
At around 3:26 p.m the amount of people coming to the store decreased. A familiar posse of blondies walked into the store. Theses idiots always walk in to judge everyone. And by everyone I mean Cassie and I.
"Well look who it is," Cassie joked.
"I'm glad you missed us Kitty," The leader of the posse said.
"It's Cassie, you skank," Cassie said clenching her fist.
"And my name's Taylor but we didn't come here to remember your name! We came here to eat," She said proudly.
"Okay. So what do you want to eat," I said cutting in.
"Well Frankenstein-"
"It's Frankie," I muttered cutting her off.
"Whatever! We would like Chocolate mochas with sugar cookies, please."
As Cassie went to get the drinks in the back, I decided to grab the cookies for them. I put them in a bag and wrapped it. Cassie struggled with all the drinks, so I handed her a tray to put them on. I placed the bag with the drinks and we walked towards the cash register. As we got there we saw red lipstick all over the countertop. We read all of them. "Losers", "Go home", "We're Classier". I could feel my jaw clench as I tightened my fists.
Cassie slammed the trays down on the countertop and gripped a drink tightly in her hand. I tried to hold her back but she shoved me out of the way. She walked towards them and watched them laugh in anger.
"Aw... Is little Kitty mad at us? What are you going to do scratch us with your tiny claws," Taylor asked sarcastically.
Cassie didn't reply but she opened the drink and poured half of it on Taylor's head. Cassie saved the rest and opened Taylor's shirt and poured the rest in there.
I tried my best not to laugh but failed miserably. I fell on the floor as I continued to laugh. I could even feel tears fall down my cheeks. I heard a loud wail and realized it was Taylor. I stood off the floor and held my hand to my mouth to keep myself from laughing.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! You don't walk around pouring drinks on people," Taylor yelled.
"Taylor, don't act like you walked in here and didn't do anything to deserved this. I'm tired of you coming in here acting like you're the boss. Just leave before you get yourself hurt," Cassie said softly.
After a short second of silence, Taylor and her posse left. Cassie took a deep breath and sighed roughly. I walked towards the door and turned the sign so it would say 'Closed'.
Afterwards we decided to crash at my place. Cassie was still mad. She never made eye contact and she was always clenching her fist. Everyone thinks they can run all over Cassie like she's a carpet or something. If only everyone knew who the real Cassie was...

Cassie's POV
I'm beginning to think that my parents are getting stranger and stranger everyday... They give me more and more gifts or money. I' m starting to get very suspicious about these two.
I decided to give Frankie a call.
"Hello?"
"Frankie, my parents have been really strange lately. I mean in the beginning everything was cool but now it's just getting tiring. I get money like two times a week and everyday I receive gifts. I' m beginning to think there' s a catch. What do you think?"
"I can see where you're coming from but don't you think they're trying to repay you for all the hell they put you through."
"Maybe you're right, Frankie. I don't know what's gotten into me in the past few days."
"It's alright. You'll adjust sooner or later. You should come over to my house and we could talk then."
"I hope so. I'll come over."
