Frankie's POV:

After a long day of work I was ready to go to Cassie's. When she told me about her dream I was excited for her. I mean what kind of friend wouldn't? I've been through so much all my life and I'm glad Cassie has been with me through it all. We're like sisters. We go through the same things everyday and I was always hoping for the best for Cassie's future! While we were in the car, I noticed Cassie shaking strangely. I didn't want to say anything to her because I knew she'd end up an emotional mess . I knew she was thinking about her dream too. She wanted this miracle to happen instantly and I would be extremely shocked if this miracle happens when we get to her house.

When we arrived at her house, I was ready to run in that house to see what would happen but as I turned to see if Cassie was behind me, she wasn't. She was still in the car just staring, as if she was in her own world. "Cassie? Come on! Aren't you going to come out", I asked curiously.

"Yeah sorry... just had a moment there", she said slowly. I watched as she slowly came out of the car. As she walked towards the front door I could see the paleness in her face. She was extremely scared but excited at the same time. She reached in her pocket for the key and tried to open the door but failed miserably. Her hands were trembling. It really hurt me to see her this way.

As we walked in, Cassie came to hault. Her eyes still and on her dad. I could see the terror in her eyes but refused to say anything. Instead I decided to give her a little nudge.

She flinched a little but still spoke, "H-h-hey Dad", she choked. I hate seeing her this way. It hurts me more than it hurts her. I mean I've seen her get abused but it's not like I'm used to it because honestly who would?

I looked at her and whispered, "Good luck".

I ran up to her room expecting it to be empty but I found a room full of stuff. My jaw dropped. My mouth was kept open for about 5 minutes before I realized I needed to check out every inch of this room. I just hope there is no catch. It would really hurt her.

I tried to forget the thought by looking around the room. She had so many cool things in here. Some were her favorite bands and accessories. Her closet was full of clothes shoes she's wanted for a long time (Doc Martens). As I was admiring the room for a few more minutes I heard footsteps come up the stairs and towards the room. I turned around and saw Cassie. She looked at the room and caught my eye. I smile brightly and said, "Don't you love it? You have a real room now. This a amazing, I can't believe your parents gave you your very own room. So what did your dad say, I want to here every single detail".

"This is still new to me too. Literally, dreams do come true. My dad apologized to me. He said that he misunderstood and my mom told him what had happened. He also said that he was tired of hitting me and he was only going to do it when I misbehaved or do something totally stupid", She said.

"Wow. So you're old guardian angel was right after all, huh? Well I'm glad I'm staying over because I want to enjoy this moment with you. You know, we should celebrate tomorrow at Sweet Tooth. Julie would totally let us do that for sure", I said excitedly. I was too happy to even go anywhere but share this moment with her. So I decided that we didn't go to Sweet Tooth.

I took a nice shower and went in to Cassie's room to put on my clothes. I decided to wear sweats and a cut sleeve tank top. As I started to tie my shoes I heard Cassie come in the room. I glanced up and looked at her in awe. She looked amazing! She wore a long sleeved crop top with it tucked into high wasted skinny jeans and a pair of Doc Martens. I realised my mouth was open and closed it. She giggled and asked "What do you think?"

"I think I totally LOVE it! Oh my god, you'll have to let me borrow your clothes sometime", I said excitedly.

"Yeah, well. Let's go to the mall. My mom decided to go as an apology", she said happily.

We headed downstairs when a delicious smell of bacon and pancakes filled our noses. We switched expressions and ran downstairs to see a table set full of breakfast. It was like a freaking Café in here. There's just more surprises everyday and what a long day it was going to be.

After we were done with the most important (not to mention delicious) meal of the day. Cassie, her mom and I head to the mall, just for the fun of it. The car ride was pretty awkward and deadly silent. Which I'm not surprised why because Cassie and her parents have absolutely nothing to talk about. Never shared any good memories (unless you count getting slapped as a memory).

As soon as we reached the mall we went inside and for some reason her mom doesn't want go in the same store with us because she's too old for our clothes. I didn't comment because she wasn't lying... So the first place we went into was Forever 21. After we're done we head over to Pacson to get these adorable boots for both of us. Afterwards we went to Claire's to get us friendship accessories and lame things like that.

After we had some fun with the girl shopping we went to get some Vans or Snapbacks. You would be surprised to see my closet (we shared mine since her parents didn't buy her any clothes. So she'd come over to my house to wear clothes). Half is the girly/hipster style and the other half is filled with skater/ tomboy clothes. We have all the Vans and a whole collection of Snapbacks.

Our hipster/girly collection is filled with skirts, studded jean vests, bracelets and headbands. While our tomboy/Skater collection is filled with skateboards, plaid shirts, skinny jeans and etc.

After we were done shopping, we decided to head out and find Cassie's Mom. It turned out we looked all around the mall for nothing (well not exactly nothing because we bought Cassie the new iPhone 5 while we were searching. We downloaded a lot of music and ringtone's to it and then we left) because her mom was in the car acting like she'd been there the whole entire time.

Once again we had another awkward silence as we drove to Cassie's house. I'm glad it was a short drive though because that was probably the worst awkward moment in my life!! As soon as we walked in, we ran straight for Cassie's room. We played a few songs and decided to talk.

"Overall, the mall was fun but the car was a little... silent," I said quietly

"Yeah, it was. I have no great memories with my parents. I wasn't even ready to go into the car because I knew it'd end up like this. I'm just glad you picked this weekend to stay with me," she said making no eye contact.

"Aw, it's okay. And that's what friends are for! Why would I ever miss out on hanging out with you?"

"I don't know. I'm so glad you're my friend! Without you I don't think I'd ever find happiness in my life."

"I feel the same without you. I'm also glad we share the same flaws and problems because If we didn't, it'd be just as awkward as it was on the way to and from the mall."

She didn't reply but instead her eyes filled with tears. I extended my arms and reached out to give her a hug.

"Thanks for being such a great friend Frankie", she stuttered.

"No problem. And thanks for being my friend," I said pulling out of the hug smiling.

After we were done with this mushy moment we decided to talk about school and random things. Man, what would I do without Cassie? Seriously, nothing.
