" Excuse me, what the hell is going on here? "

' What an annoying female.' His thoughts were loud in his head and were desperate to come out of his mouth; however , obligations for his brother and his mate forced him to keep quiet.

" Nothing, that concerns you. " He couldn't hide the disdain that he was feeling due to the presence of the insufferable blonde girl.

He stood from his seat, deciding to leave before he did anything he surely would regret afterwards.

" I believe you own a car. " He regarded Eliza. Who had become three shade paler.

It took her few seconds to comprehend what he had said before she nodded meekly.

There was something wrong, this female made her more scared than he, a stranger had.

" Will you need my assistance in getting to your place? " He asked to be as polite as he could be in this situation.

When Eliza didn't answer immediately he looked towards the blonde girl for a brief second.

" I have a car as well. I can drop you off, if you wish. " He made his intentions clear when he noticed both girls' expressions being varied.

" Uhm, No, my sister and I can manage. Thank you. " Eliza spoke in a very gentle voice as though afraid to make him angry by rejection.

He understood her situation very well. It is not easy to trust an absolute stranger.

" Very well then. " He took Eliza's soft hand in his large one, he leaned down to give her knuckles soft kiss.

The innocent yet intimate action, left her dumbstruck, her cheeks turned redder than the beet.

'She is shy.

How will she ever survive on our lands? With having a mate like my brother.

It surely would be the biggest fight of her life. Not with the outsiders but with herself.

She would have to grow out of this shell. But Alexander had a faith in her abilities afterall she was only eighteen, she got her entire life to learn.

Besides she or anyone especially Chase has no other option.

Fate is indeed cruel.

As he stared down in her hazel eyes, something steered in his chest, he couldn't identify the motion or what it meant but it surely scared him.

He noticed he was still holding her hand in his, clearing his throat he let it go. And took a step back.

I will have to trust the gods in this matter. May Gods above give her strength for what her life is about to become.

" We will surely meet again. Enjoy your day ladies." He said as he gave her a slight nod before leaving her with her annoying sister. Not sparing the blonde girl a second glance.

The encounter with Eliza was not pre-planned. He had not expected to find her at the restaurant.

He was there for a meeting with his father's human associates.

He had left the meeting halfway, to greet the girl, only to realize that Chase had not made any move to acknowledge her.

Now, he was standing in front of the building he knew Chase was.

One of his favorite leisure activities; drinking and women. Although he was silently hoping that today he is only here for a drink and not for any woman.
