BONUS CHAPTER 6: JC's Joy

Third Person's POV

"Is there anything you want? Anong gusto mong pasalubong para mabili namin ni Daddy mo?"

Ivy shook her head lightly while standing in front of her mother.

Paalis na ito at hinihintay na lamang ang asawa dahil iyon ang magmamaneho ng kotseng sasakyan nila. They're not that rich yet to have someone to drive for them to their whereabouts.

"Tara na, hon. Let's go." ani ng isang lalaki na kakalabas lamang ng pintuan ng kanilang bahay. "Sweetie, goodbye, hm? Aalis muna kami ni Mommy." malambing na saad nito sa anak na babae.

Ivy nodded and kissed both of her parents on the cheeks.

"Please go home early po." she told them.

Her parents just nodded and smiled at her.

Hinawakan sa balikat si Ivy ng pansamantalang Yaya niya para samahan ito. Kumaway pa ulit ang bata sa mga magulang niya bago ito makaalis sakay ng kotse nila.

"Anong gusto mo, Ivy? Hindi ka pa nagssnack. Ibinilin sakin ni Mommy mo na pakainin ka raw kasi kaunti lang kinain mo kanina." malumanay na saad ng Yaya niya.

"Cookies po." the lovely seven year old kid answered.

Her Yaya nodded and smiled.

Pinaupo siya nito sa isa sa mga upuan at sa harap no'n ay may maliit na lamesa. Nasa balkonahe sila.

Nagpaalam ang Yaya ni Ivy sakaniya na papasok lang ito sandali para paghandaan siya ng snack niya. She told the kid not to go out and wait for her. Ivy didn't say a thing and just stayed still on her seat.

Pero pagpasok ng Yaya niya ay bumalik ang paningin niya sa naiwang nakabukas na gate.

Ivy wants to go out and that's what she did. She hurriedly went out of their house. Agad niyang tinignan ang kabilang bahay.

Her lips formed a sweet smile when she saw someone there waiting. It's a boy. It's her friend. And it's her crush.

"Hi, JC!" bati niya rito tsaka lumapit. Niyakap niya rin ito ng medyo mahigpit kaya mahinang natawa ang batang lalaking si JC.

"Hello," bati nito pabalik sakaniya pagkatapos nilang magyakapan. "Alis na Mommy at Daddy mo?" he asked her.

Ivy nodded. "Yes. Nag go na si Daddy sa work and si Mommy may nilalakad about sa business niya." she said.

JC nodded. Naiintindihan niya 'to. They are both a smart kid, good looking. They would be a perfect match when they grow up.

"Halika, dito tayo para hindi mainit." pag-aaya ni JC kay Ivy tsaka niya ito hinawakan sa kamay. Pumwesto sila roon sa may mga halaman na malalaki, at may lilim nga roon para hindi sila mainitan. "Gusto mo magplay tayo? Gusto mo bang mag-bike ulit tayo?" tanong nito.

Umiling si Ivy. She just looked at him. She just stared at JC's charming face.

"We're really leaving..." she said, feeling a little down.

"Ahh, tuloy kayo?" JC asked.

Ivy nodded her head.

They are friends and they have talked about it. Ivy would always tell him about what's going on in her life. That's just her.

"It's okay, Joy. Pagbalik mo nandito pa rin naman ako." JC assured her.

Ivy and her parents will go to France. They are moving there for good. Kung babalik man sila ng Pilipinas, pabisi-bisita nalang at bakasyon.

Her parents planned for her future already. And her Mom chose to go to Paris with them. To start their jewelry business.

JC was also sad at first when Ivy told him about it. Pero ano nga bang magagawa niya? They're still kids who still need their parent's guidance. Kaya susunod at susunod sila sa mga magulang nila.

JC'S eyes caught something kaya kinuha niya iyon bago humarap ulit kay Ivy. He placed something behind her ear before letting out a smile.

"There, you look prettier." he complimented her.

Ivy blushed because of it so JC can't help but to chuckle.

Hinawakan niya yung nilagay ni JC sa may tainga niya. It's a flower.

"Thank you." she thanked her.

Ivy suddenly got an idea in her mind so she stood up to level JC's height. She's confident and she have the courage that's why she suddenly kissed JC on his cheek.

She giggled before running away and going back to their place.

"Bye, JC! Until next time!" she said as she waved her hand at him.

JC was left blushing. She can't believe what Ivy did.

Kalaunan ay napangiti nalang ito.

That's her Joy. Ivy never fail to put a smile on his face. That's what makes her lovely and beautiful, inside and out. She's so graceful.
