Sunday was here so we were up early doing laundry. We dried the bedding and the next shift was here. We left while Casey and the other chief were doing shift change. We were glad to be home. Olivia was up and told us they took tests for covid and why. She told us the tests were all negative but Arienne was sick not sure from covid or the flu or both. Also Eric would be here for two weeks and that Antonio left the house key and he tested negative so far .
We went to bed we both were still tired after we had breakfast that Olivia made for us all.
Dorothy did the laundry than took a shower. I made the bed with clean bedding, folded the dried bedding and put it away. I took a shower while Dorothy got dressed , blow dried her hair and packed our luggage. I got dressed and put my dirty clothes in a separate bag with Dorothy's and we sanitized the bedroom and bathroom after cleaning it. I locked the door and slid the bedroom keys under the door. I left Olivia's car key on the night stand.
Uber driver was waiting for us. We went to the hotel checked in and ordered breakfast to eat in our room.

I laughed at Julianne when we left three stores. She had more bags than . We finally made it to the winery. We didn't care for any of their wine which was a first for us both. We stopped at an Italian restaurant and had yup their spaghetti with a side of two huge meatballs, salad and tea . We ate and drank. Dorothy paid the bill and left the tip. We walked around than eventually made it back to the hotel. I left the keys and our bags in the trunk but we both had our receipts in our purses. Dorothy got a ticket for the Valet. We entered the hotel and went to our room which wasn't huge . Julianne did you call and purchase our tickets first class? Yes our plane leaves at eleven in the morning. Let's take a nap.
Joey and Emily wake up around 2 ish. We are swimming and they decided to cuddle and watch a movie and make hot dogs got their lunch with chips and a water. We laugh at what they are watching. Shipping Wars? Yes sweetie. We will leave you to it and go take a shower.
You know what they are doing? Yea Emily buy they are adults. He has been the best guy she has dated and been involved with sexually in a long time. Both have great careers too. He treats her well and is faithful to her. This is all what myself and her mothers wanted for her.
I hold Joey when she cries again. I know she misses her wide and Olivia's other mother who happened to be her aunt on top of being married to her aunt . She thanks me and we continue watching shipping Wars. They finally return and Eric says he is cooking a tri tip,with a red bakes potato with a mixed green Salas with raspberry vinaigrette he bought from the store earlier today. Emily and my eyes widen. Neither of us had tri tip in a awhile.

He goes outside and I see him putting up mesquite chips in it than turns on the grill and closes it. He brings the tri tip a zip log bags to the grill and opens it up and places them on the grill and closes it. He returns inside and washes his hands then dries them. He takes out almonds, and two kinds of lettuce out with tomatoes. He washes the vegetables and starts chopping them and placing it in a bowl than cuts up the almonds. He covers the salad and places it back in the refrigerator.
Olivia when I asked you to put the almonds and vinaigrette dressing please do. Okay.
He washes the potatoes and covers them in butter with Himalaya salt ,a little pepper and then wraps it in tinfoil and takes it outside but doesn't put it on the grill. He comes back and sits down with us. Joey did I pass your food preparation requirements? Yes. I know you were watching me. Yes I was. He starts laughing when the guy has to take a longer route because the bridge is shorter than his load height. He is laughing because this man has to back up his rig safely on the free way with vehicles approaching and a state trooper gives him a ticket for making it unsafe.
Dude should of called the state trooper department and ask for help. He is definitely not making much money on this one. A nice ticket, more gas and maybe decrease in money for the load because now he has to take a different route and hopes he doesn't run into the same problem again. He made it unsafe for many. He was lucky no one got in accident and everyone was paying attention.
Yeah your right. It could of been one Hella of catastrophe and many people seriously getting hurt or even killed. Joey and I seen this top often in Chicago .
He gets up to get himself a beer and tells us he will be with Olivia but not to worry. He will make sure the meat doesn't burn. We are now watching a movie on TV regular channel when he goes outside to check the meat and re enters the house. He tells us the meat should be done in two hours and and we will have left overs. He goes back to Olivia in the other room. We watched another movie when he goes back outside and gets the meat and potatoes. Olivia had went outside earlier to put the potatoes on the grill and turn the meat. He let's the meat cool and takes out the dressing and salad.
Everyone please wash your hands and get yourself what you want you drink. Olivia has glasses, silverware and napkins out on the dining table .
He cuts only one meat and its dripping with juices. He uses the meat fork to place several pieces and a baked potato in tin foil on our plate. The salad Olivia adds the almonds , she mixes the salad and takes it to the table and we serve ourselves . Every brings their beverage and pours their beverage into the cups. We start eating. We all complement him on the tri tip .
We finished dinner and he gets uo washes his hands and cuts the rest of the meat and places them in a locked lid container and pours the juices from the meat with the meat and closes the container. He puts it in the refrigerator and starts loading the dishwasher and cleans the kitchen himself even though the three of offered to help. He tells us good night. He has some work to do.
Dang sweetie when are you going marry him. Mom not sure. He's a keeper. I know believe me I know. He understands if we want kids, we have to adopt. We both aren't sure we do. Sweetie it's okay if you don't. If you do, you will have me and so many others to help. It takes a village to raise a child especially how our country is the way it is. I am off to bed. I am tired. The three of us head to two bedrooms. Emily and I changed into pajamas and get into bed and nod off to sleep.
I am sleeping but woken up when I hear Eric in the bathroom rinsing out his mouth and gargles before he gets into bed. I get get closer then nodded off to sleep.
Several months gave gone by. No one has convid now. Rachel and Arienne did have it. Arienne drives her car to Sacramento and leaves it. She has purchased a second car for her home in Southern California.
