No one ever listens
But they say they're Christians
I try to think of the golden rule
But things happen at school
Even family and friends
Then the relationship bends
They keep me in a cage
Until I get old in age
I ask "may I have the key?"
"May I speak freely?"
No interruptions and no blocking me out
You might give me a chance but I highly doubt
I'll start a conversation
But then there's hesitation
I'm also invisible seems like
Up that mountain I try to hike
On my back there are weights
I try to catch up to the rest but no one waits
Mountains, they are taller that you think
I'm still trying to find that missing link
You wanna know my mountain's name
For every mountain its the same
It's name is depression
And I'm only a freshman
There you go
Taking a blow
To my heart
Trying not to fall apart
But then
Again and again
It might be hard to comprehend
But I guess this is the end.
