"ICE CREAM!" I said as a walked down a road made of candy! There was candy floss trees and bubblegum bushes, but best of all, there was the biggest bowl of ice cream I have ever seen! I started to walk towards it when the floor began to crumble and I fell into darkness.
"AHHH!" I screamed as I fell out of my bed. "aww fuck! It was just a dream!" I said as I picked myself up off the cold wooden floor. I walked over to my wardrobe and threw on a Starbucks crop top, high waisted shorts and wrapped a plaid shirt around my waist. I threw on a cap and turned it backwards and put on my white converse shoes. I left my pastel purple hair untouched and messy, and grabbed my skateboard.
I ran downstairs to find my mum with a plate of waffles. "eat quick! You don't want to be late!" She smiled as I grabbed a waffle. "thanks mum!" I said with a mouth full of waffle! "Don't talk with your mouth full, how many times have I told you that Quincy?" She laughed "too many, and I've told you, don't call me Quincy!" I giggled as my dad walked in the room. I stood up and gave both my parents a hug "promise you'll visit us?" My dad asked "I promise!" I smiled as I grabbed my suitcase and got in a taxi.
I arrived at the university after about an hour of sitting in a cab! "Thanks!" I said to the driver as I got out of the car. I looked up at the giant building in awe, I was gonna live here! I saw people walking around, some were in groups and some were in their own like me. I could tell instantly who the bitches were.
One unnaturally blonde girl, who was standing with a bunch of other bleach haired barbies, pointed at my hair and laughed. "what are you, some kind of alien?" She giggled "i'd rather be an alien than half plastic!" I said and she instantly stopped laughing and gave me a look of pure hatred. I gave her a sarcastic smile and a girlie wave "toodles!" I mocked her bitchy tone and jumped on my skateboard triumphantly.
I was so caught up in a world of my own, that I forgot to look where I was going. one second I was cruising along peacefully and the next, I'm on the floor surrounded by papers! I looked up to see a girl who was bright red! "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" She said in a panic to pick up her books. "nah, don't be It happens sometimes!" I responded calmly.
I stood up and held out my hand "I'm Quincy, but people call me Quirk" I smiled and she shook my hand "I'm scarlet, it's nice to meet you" she smiled back.
the first thing I noticed was her style, it was pretty laid back and casual. She was wearing black skinny jeans and a maroon colour wool jumper. Her shoes were white converse that stopped just below the ankle and her bag was a gorgeous leather. She also had something peeking out under her jumper on her side, it looked like a tattoo. "is that a tattoo?" I asked and she lifted her jumper a little bit so I could see it. "yeah, you like it?" She asked. it was a map of the world, probably about the size of my hand, on the side of her waist. "it's amazing!" I said in awe, and it really was! "Thanks, I like yours!" She said and she pointed at the little tattoo of a heart on my wrist. "thanks, I'm surprised you can even see it through all these bracelets!" I said, it was true! I always plaster my arms and hands in charms, bracelets and rings!
"So, where are you heading?" I asked curiously. "I'm going to my dorm room, well... I think! I am totally lost to be honest!" She laughed "what room number is it?" I asked. "43" she said "really!? That's my room!" I said in surprise. "I guess we are room mates then!" Scarlet smiled "lets do this shit!" I said as I grabbed her by the wrist and ran to the dorm rooms, laughing and giggling the whole way.
This was gonna be fun!
