Chapter 7: Beating Eggman Part One

[Sonic is lying on the roof of the Loud House reading a book.]

Sonic: I guess I must've seen every place there is to see on this planet, except for the places I'd have to swim to.

[Scene shifts inside the Loud House living room. Audience on the TV are seen clapping.]

Next: Bye bye, my friends! I'll see ya'll tomorrow!

Cream: Bye bye!

[Cheese replies while waving her hand. Lynn Sr enter, holding a piece of Lynnsagna in his hand.]

Lynn Sr: Hey, Cream and Cheese. I thought you two might like a little snack.

Cream: Thank you, Mr. Loud.

T.V reporter: We interrupt our regularly scheduled program to go live to our RWTV correspondent, Katherine Mulligan.

Katherine Mulligan: The President's top aide is going to make a statement before taking questions from the press corps.

Lynn Sr: Hey, kids! You might want to see this!

[Everyone enters the living room to watch the news report.]

Jerome: The President has decided to take action to stop Dr. Eggman!

[Everyone looks at the TV in wonder]

At Eggman's base

[Dr Eggman is watching the report too.]

Dr Eggman: Oh yeah?! Well, I hope they've come up with a disaster management plan, because they're going to need it!

[Eggman laughs. The scene shifts to Knuckles who's climbing up a cliff.]

Knuckles: Alright, where's that emerald?

[Knuckles looks up and sees the X Tornado flying overhead and decides to follow it. Scene shifts to a closer view of the X Tornado.]

Rusty: Amy, there's my house down there!

Amy: Which one?

Rusty: Do you see the one with the red roof?

Amy: Yeah, that's great, Rusty!

Rusty: You should come for a visit sometime!

Amy: I will! Thanks!

Rusty: Hey, Lincoln, do you think we can fly over our school?

Lincoln: Uh, well I... maybe...

Tails: Guys, this isn't a sight-seeing trip. We've gotta hurry and track down the next Chaos Emerald or Eggman will get it before we do!

Lincoln: I know, Tails. Sorry.

Tails: It's alright. Hey, Lisa, where did you get those new high-tech goggles?

Lisa: I made them myself. It picks sensors from any Chaos Emerald. You like them?

Tails: Mmmhmm, they look pretty cool!

[The inside of the goggles reveal a sensor picking up sounds within the X Tornado. Scene shifts to the Royal Woods Middle School where Mr. Stewart is sitting in his car.]

Rusty: Amy, look! There's the school Lincoln and I go to!

[The X Tornado flies overhead of the school. Mr. Stewart immediately starts up his car and drives off. Scene shifts to the White House.]

Commander: The power generators for Eggman's base are located under the tower, Mr. President.

President: Oh...
