Leo didn't hear the joyful cries of children during the day. It seemed that they really were closed for a few days. It was strange to hear silence during this time as it was usually a chaotic mess. But the silence was super eerie. Leo stood up and exited Parts & Service to explore a bit.
He looked at the clock and saw that it was almost 12AM, but it was as quiet as a grave in the restaurant. He noticed Jeremy was inside as well, but walked on towards Kid's Cove to visit Mangle. Something was telling him that the days of the Toy animatronics were now numbered, so he wanted to at least visit Mangle while he had time.
"Hey. Are you awake, Mangle?" He asked.
Mangle stirred and saw it was Leo who had visited her.
"Oh... Hi Leo..." She said sadly.
"What's wrong?" He asked. "You look a little... Depressed."
"The pizzeria is closed..." Mangle replied. "No one came to see us today... The kids that come here... They may take me apart and put me back together, but I can't bring myself to hate them... But now... It feels like something important is missing..."
"Love..." Leo said. "I envy you for that, you know. At least you know what the love of the people who come to see you feels like... I never got to experience that... All I know is a deep seated hatred and longing for revenge... Did you know I was supposed to be the drummer in my band? I don't see myself feeling the love of fans like you..."
"Leo..." Mangle replied. "I'm sorry that happened to you... But you have me, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy. You have your friends. We love you. And you know what they say about friends. They're forever."
Leo smiled at what Mangle said. It was a small thing that was said to him, but it was what he needed to hear. He brought Mangle into a hug that she returned happily.
"Thank you, Mangle..." He said. "I'm glad you're my friend. I should let you get ready to torment the night guard some more."
"Yeah. And Leo?" Mangle replied. "Thank you. I'm glad you're my friend too. Oh! Here, take this. It's a plushie of me. Now you can always have me close."
She handed him her plushie and he happily took it. The two hugged each other one more time, before Leo headed back to Parts & Service. He placed it to the right of his spot and it was then he noticed another Mangle plushie right next to a Foxy plushie right beside Foxy. He gave the fox a knowing smile.
Jeremy was locked in. Locked inside this cursed pizzeria with killer animatronics. It was his worst nightmare. He held it together for four nights. This was his last night, then he would get his check and he could leave. But he thought about it and something was telling him to not leave this stuff unsolved.
As per usual, he heard the familiar ring of the phone and he answered it. Phone Guy sounded troubled this time around.
[Hello, hello? Hey, good job, night 5! Um, hey, uh, keep a close eye on things tonight, okay? Um, from what I understand, the building is on lockdown. Uh, no one is allowed in or out, y'know, especially concerning any... previous employees. Um, when we get it all sorted out, we may move you to the day shift, a position just became... available. Uh, we don't have a replacement for your shift yet, but we're working on it. We're gonna try to contact the original restaurant owner. Uh, I think the name of the place was "Fredbear's Family Diner" or something like that. It's been closed for years though, I doubt we'll be able to track anybody down. Well, just get through one more night! Uh, hang in there! Good night!]
