Jisoo pov

"What? " I asked in surprise and shock.

What is happening here?  Why does everyone want Chaeyoung and I to get married?
I looked at him.

But he laughed.

" Don't get me wrong.  I did'nt say that because I wanted you two to live together happily .  I'm a businessman and I have never done anything except for profit. This is also like that."

Me and Mrs. Manoban looked at him confused.

"What do you mean? What does my life have to do with Jennie's wedding?"

He sit forward, put his hands on the table and clasped together.

"Actually I want my daughter to marry Park's daughter. When I saw the closeness between them, I thought they were in love.  But my expectations all shattered, when Lisa told me she wants to marry your sister Jennie." He said. But I did'nt understand what he was trying to say.

"I'm not so wicked as to pretend that I didn't see my own daughter's will. Also i can't hide my desires just like that. .It was then that I heard that Park wanted his daughter to marry you." He smirked.

I still didn't understand what he meant.

"A partnership with Park Enterprises has been something i've wanted for a long time, but Mason has yet to show any interest in it. With your marriage to Chaeyoung, this will be easy. Because when Lisa marries Jennie, we will be relatives. That's what i meant. The important thing for me is that my plan should work, not who marries who. Got it?" He smirked.

Now i understand what he meant and how evil he is.

"So you want me to marry Chaeyoung, because you can be the business partner of Mr. Park... Right...?" I asked him. He nodded.

"What if I don't agree to this?" I crossed my arms on my chest.

"Then let's cancel this proposal. " He simply replied.

"If my wish doesn't come true, I don't care if my daughter's romance doesn't come true." He smirked. I frowned.

I was about to decline his offer when my phone rang.  As soon as I heard the ringtone I knew it was Jennie. I excused myself and take the call.

"Jen"

📱..' Where are you unnie? It's late already .'

God the cat is angry.

"Mandu.. I was in a meeting. Don't worry i will be home in one  hour."

📱You better, Kim Jisoo."
I chuckled.

"I will mandu."

📱"Well, unnie Lisa is calling, come home soon.  "

Although I could not see it, I realized that a shy smile was spreading on her face.. God, I will not be the reason to destroy her love. I'm ready to destroy my life for her happiness.

"Bye mandu." I cut the call and went to the table.

"Did Jennie call you?" I nodded.

"So what is your decision?" He asked.

I thought for a while. Then agreed.

"Like I said, I'm willing to do anything to make Jennie happy."

"Good. Then give your consent to Mason.  After you and Chaeyoung's marriage, Lisa will join as CEO of Manoban Industries after Lisa and Jennie's graduation. Then let's decide a date for their marriage." He said with a smile. Mrs. Manoban smiled at me apologetically.
