Classes resumed after Interhigh ended. Which means senior students like us who were also graduating students became busier. We have tons of activities and requirements to pass because our last month will consist of preparing for our entrance examinations to various universities, as well as preparation for our graduation.

However, despite being busy, we always make sure to hang out. Though it would just be for just an hour or two because we have to rest and sleep early to prepare for the next day's tiring activities.

Thankfully, I've been less anxious these days because of the confrontation we had with Hyungwon. He never bothered me again since then. I don't even see him around anymore. His creepy stares no longer felt everywhere I went. It made me feel relieved.

But that's not what's bothering me anymore. In fact, that didn't bother me as much as this one.

Ever since I found out from Joshua that Seungcheol and him still weren't in a relationship, I've been confused and wondering. Up until now, I can't find a reason why they weren't a thing yet.

I witnessed how they pine over each other, and I understand that they wanted to take things slow. But after everything that happened to them, I really thought they'd be together after talking things out.

What could possibly be that very important matter they have to fix first? I know I said to Joshua I already understand their reason, but the truth is, I don't.

I probably won't ever understand unless they decide to finally be together.

And that thought still stings even if I already accepted the fact that the two people I like, like each other.

Especially knowing I will never be in the picture where the three of us can fit. It's just so impossible.

So for the past few weeks that had passed, I tried to observe Joshua and Seungcheol. They weren't awfully sweet and showy about their relationship, but it's obvious that something had changed- improved rather, in their dynamics.

They were always beside each other wherever we went. They weren't holding hands but Seungcheol's arms were always on Joshua's shoulders. And whenever they look at each other, you can practically see hearts in their eyes.

And as much as they looked so good together, it just hurts.

So I would always look away once I caught them acting like a couple.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt my phone vibrate. I took it out of my pocket and saw a notification coming from our group chat.

Vernon: Everyone!! Did Joshua tell you guys already?

Soonyoung: Tell us what?

Vernon: Oh. So he hasn't.

Vernon: Anyway. It's my birthday on Sunday and we're going to throw a simple celebration here in our house right across from Hong's mansion. You're all invited!

Jun: Oooh. We're definitely coming!

Vernon: Thanks! We can have a sleepover as well if you guys want.

Seokmin: THAT'S NOT EVEN SOMETHING YOU SHOULD ASK. WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A SLEEPOVER OF COURSE.

Vernon: That's great then.

I let out a sigh at the news of having another sleepover with the gang.

It's not that I didn't want to. I love my friends more than anything, and I'd rather hang out with them than to do anything else.
