Jeonghan

"Young master?"

I groaned in frustration when I heard a knock followed by a voice calling me in the most cringey and annoying thing in the world.

"What?" I asked, not mind how rude I sound so rude.

"Lunch is ready, young master. Your parents are already waiting for you in the dining room."

I rolled my eyes, "I'm coming. You can go now."

"Yes, young master."

I heaved out a sigh when I heard footsteps slowly disappearing.

What an annoying household. Young master? Master Yoon? Pft. That's why I don't want to stay here. I prefer to stay in my own house or inside the campus.

Without much choice, I drag myself out of my bed and my room. I took my time going down the stairs and all the way to the dining room where I saw my parents sitting down with a frown plastered on their face.

"What took you so long on going down, Yoon Jeonghan?" Dad asked, still frowning at me.

I rolled my eyes, "You should've started even without me."

"You know the tradition in this household, Jeonghan."

I scoffed, "Whatever." Tradition my ass. We barely even had time together. When did we ever follow that tradition?

I started eating without waiting for my father's cue. I heard him growled in annoyance because of what I did but I didn't pay attention to him. I continued eating, and from my peripheral vision, I saw him and mom sighed as they started eating.

It was silent. None of them even bother to ask me about anything in my life. They didn't ask me about how school was, or what I've been doing as a hobby lately, or what would I do in college once I graduate.

What the hell am I expecting from my workaholic parents? I shook my head, shrugging the thoughts away. I'm already in a bad mood as it is, thinking about the lack of care they are showing to me would make me feel upset even more. I'm not up for any pranks right now to relieve my own anger.

"Jeonghan."

I lifted my head to look at my father with an eyebrow raised, "What?" I asked.

"Manners, Yoon Jeonghan. He's your father." My mom said, shooting me a sharp and threatening stare.

I rolled my eyes, ignoring her.

"About what we talked about last night..."

I immediately felt my blood boil upon remembering it. I clench my fist tightly which held the knife I'm using to cut the pork. Calm down, Jeonghan. They're your parents. Calm dow-

"I'll give you a week to decide about i-"

I harshly put down the knife I'm holding on the table, making both of them flinched. I stood, pushing back the chair I'm sitting at which caused a loud scraping on the floor, "I'm done. I'm going back to my room." I said.

Before I can even take a step, dad spoke.

"One week, Jeonghan. If your answer is still the same, I have no choice but to make an action by myself."

I scoffed, my jaw clenching as I balled my hands into a fist. Without turning back to look at them, I strode back to my room, closing it harshly.

I dive on my bed as I stare up on the ceiling of my room.
