Tournament aftermath

After the all valley tournament Robby had decided to follow his dad to the now old Cobra Kai dojo and apologise for the role in helping Cobra Kai win tournament. During their conversation both of them opened up about all the regrets they have about the last 17 years but especially the past year where they were always on opposing sides. After everything was said and done it gave Robby hope the his relationship with his dad would start to get better and they could finally be father and son without any karate drama.

After his talk with his dad Robby planned to go home until he checked his and saw he had a message from Kyler telling him to come to his house for a celebration party, Robby wasn't really in the mood to party but he knew he had to go and celebrate with Tory after her win. For Robby Tory's win was the only good thing about the tournament and since he knew how much it meant for her to win he couldn't wait to see her and celebrate with her.

Tory had reluctantly gone to the party since it was basically a party for her but honestly she would rather be at home ignoring the world. Tory had taken what felt like 500 photos with Piper and Kyler, Kyler had held onto the trophy for so long people would probably start to believe he had won it. Tory had hoped that Robby would be here so she could spend time with him but he hadn't turned up and Tory was begging to think he would as he was probably still upset he lost to Hawk in the boys final, Tory knew it was hard for him to lose again and she was already grateful he had stayed for her fight and celebrated with her. As Tory sat in the corner alone watching her teammates celebrate she wished she could be anywhere else.

When Robby finally arrived at the party he couldn't see Tory partying with anyone so he decided to ask Piper if she had seen her anywhere but she hadn't so Robby decided to go look for her himself, Robby's search didn't take long as he found when he went into the kitchen he could see Tory sitting in the backyard all by herself. Robby carefully sat down beside who was sitting at the edge of Kyler's pool looking into the water, Tory was surprised when Robby sat next to her but she was even more surprised when he handed her flowers, Tory immediately hugged Robby which caught him off guard as even though they were dating Tory never let her guard down so easily, Robby asked Tory why she wasn't inside celebrating with everyone else but Tory ignored his question and told him she loved the flowers, Robby asked again why Tory wasn't partying with everyone else this time Tory gave him a response she told him she was tired of everyone trying to take photos with her. After a few more minutes Robby asked Tory if she was ready to go back inside but Tory said she would rather stay outside with him for a bit longer, Robby had no problem with that so he wrapped his arm around Tory and let her rest her head against him. For the first time in a few hours Tory stopped thinking about Silver paying the referee and enjoyed some peace with her boyfriend that was until the moment was ruined by Kyler who told them to come inside, Tory wanted to punch him so badly for ruining their moment. Once Robby and Tory were back inside all they did was sit on the couch and watch everyone have fun so Robby suggested that they go home.

On the walk back to Tory's apartment Robby noticed that Tory was being a much quieter than he expected her to be after winning the tournament so he knew something was obviously troubling her but something that Robby had learned about Tory over the last few months was that Tory would tell him what's wrong when she's ready so he decided not ask her what's wrong.

Once they arrived at Tory's apartment Robby congratulated her and gave her a kiss before he left but before he could walk away Tory grabbed his hand to stop him leaving when Robby looked to see what was wrong tory began to cry, Robby immediately pulled her in and hugged her, Robby tried to ask what was wrong but tory didn't answer his question instead she asked him stay with her tonight Robby promised he wouldn't go anywhere.

Once they were inside Robby sat Tory down on the couch and got her a glass of water, he finally decided to ask Tory what was wrong because he excepted her to be over the moon with her win but instead she seemed absolutely miserable. Tory finally told Robby what she saw and now her dream of being all valley champion was over thanks to that old cheating bastard, Robby couldn't believe what she had just told him he knew this news could change everything but right now Robby knew he had to focus on Tory because he knew how much winning that trophy meant to her, Robby hugged Tory again and told her that she's still the champ no matter what she's been fighting her entire life so she can look after her family and now after only a year of training she an all valley champion and she got there all by herself he reminded her that Silver didn't get her to the final and now that's she the champ he can never take that away from her, Tory was so glad that Robby was in her in life because he always knew what to say to make her feel better and whenever he was around she didn't feel like she was alone anymore. Robby knew that this revelation could be enough to get Tory out of cobra Kai and away from Kreese and Silver's bad influence but for tonight he had to forget about that and focus on making Tory know she was the true all valley champion so for now Robby held Tory tight and he didn't plan on letting her go.
