Robby Keene and Tory Nichols oneshots/ short stories

Robby felt frozen still he couldn't believe his eyes he couldn't believe he was looking across the mat and seeing Tory as a member of Cobra Kai once again. It had been 3 weeks since Tory went missing and ever since then Robby had replayed the moment she left the dojo over and over again in his head. He wished that he had ran after her sooner than he did because maybe that way he wouldn't have been worried sick this entire time. Robby could feel Sam watching him but he couldn't take his eyes off Tory who wasn't looking back in fact she didn't seem to be looking at anything instead she looked completely lost.

Tory entered the venue behind her new Cobra Kai teammates. The first thing she noticed was the shocked look on Robby's face Tory couldn't bare to look at him for too long so she looked down at the mat hoping the introduction of the Dojo's would be over quickly.

Once all the dojo's had been introduced Robby rushed out of the venue as quickly as he could because he needed to be alone after such an unexpected twist. Tory saw Robby leaving and wanted nothing more than to run after him and explain but she was stopped by Sensei Kreese who told her to forget about him...... but that was easier said than done.

Robby spent the rest of the day in his hotel room looking at pictures of him and Tory on his phone. He couldn't stop thinking about how happy they were just a few weeks ago they planned to enter and win the Sekai Taikai together but now they were once again separated by Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai. Robby was taken away from his thoughts by Sam who let him know everyone was going downstairs for the pre tournament meal.

The pre tournament meal was supposed to be an opportunity for the fighters and sensei's to get to know each other before the tournament starts tomorrow although Miyagi Do were having a hard enough time talking to each other never mind people from other dojo's. Robby wasn't really hungry so he didn't eat much and after the Sekai Taikai committee members gave a speech he decided to leave and go for a walk. Tory hadn't eaten much either she kept looking over at Robby although all she could see was the back of his head. When Robby left Tory knew this was her chance to talk to him so she did the same thing thankfully for Tory she left too quickly for Kreese or Kim to ask where she was going.

Robby left the hotel Tory was walking closely behind him even though she was desperate to talk to him she had to work up the courage first. After walking for only 10 minutes Robby stopped and took a seat on a bench. Tory knew this was the time to initiate a conversation.

T) "Mind if I join you"

Robby looked up immediately

R) "Sure"

Tory sat down but she left plenty of space between them. Things were really awkward between them for the first few minutes.

R) "I'm sorry"

Tory looks confused

T) "What for"

R) "I'm sorry about your mom and I'm sorry that I didn't come after you sooner"

T) "You don't have to be sorry at that point I just wanted to be alone......but I'm sorry too I'm sorry that I didn't let you know where i went"

R) "It's fine it doesn't matter now anyway you chose your side"

T) "No no I didn't Robby I didn't choose Cobra Kai over Miyagi Do because I wanted too I did it because I have no other choice. When Kreese came back the last thing I wanted to do was get on a plane to Korea with him and even now I wish I hadn't"

R) "So why did you go"

T) "For my mom"

Robby remembered when Tory said her mom would want her to fight during the captain's decider against Sam

T) "I'm going to win this for her and for Brandon I can use the money when I win to provide a better life for him because right now that's whay matters most"

The feeling of betrayal was starting to leave Robby and now he could understand why Tory made her choice.

T) "Robby you mean so much to me so please tell me that you understand why I did what I did"

Robby moved closer to Tory and placed his hand on her's

R) "Of course I do. Obviously I wish we were fighting for Miyagi Do together but I get it and what matters most is that we're standing on that podium together side by side"

Tory smiled the same way she did when Robby first said those words

T) "That's really what you want"

R) "more than anything. You mean more to me than this stupid dojo feud Tory so let's win the tournament then focus on what comes next for us"

Tory was so happy in that moment that she leaned in and passionately kissed him. Of course Robby kissed back and with this being the first time they kissed in weeks they were certainly making up for lost time.

Tory pulls away from the kiss

T) "I've got something I need to give you"

Tory reaches into her pocket and pulls out a letter

T) "I wrote this before I left I wanted to leave it at your dad's apartment but Kreese told me we didn't have time. You don't have to read it now but I want you to have it so you know that no matter where I was I was always thinking about you"

Robby took the letter from Tory and decided to read it now.

"Dear Robby I know this is gonna be hard for you to understand but I've accepted an offer from Kreese to go with him to South Korea and represent Cobra Kai at the Sekai Taikai. This isn't something I want to do but something I have to do. I don't have time to explain everything now so hopefully in Barcelona we can get some time together. Before I end this I just need you to know that I'm already missing you and no matter where I am I'll be thinking of you because I love you Robby Keene I love you so much"

Robby stopped reading. They had never said I love you out loud even though it was obvious how they felt

R) "I love you too"

Once again the young couple share a passionate kiss but this time it's Robby who initiated it

They sat on the bench for another hour just enjoying each others company and making up for the time they lost. But they knew it was unfortunately time to go back to the hotel.

T) "When you talked about our future what ideas did you have"

R) "Honestly I don't know all I know it that we'll be together"

Tory smiled again she was so happy they were able to work things out.

Robby and Tory reached Tory's room

R) "I was thinking since we're here for another 4 days how about we have a date night one night"

T) "I'd love that"

Robby leaned in and gave Tory one last kiss before she entered her room. Everything in that moment felt amazing but what neither of them knew was that Kim Da Eun had just witnessed them kiss and she wasn't happy about it.
