"Huh?" "Youdummy, wake up! There is someone down! "She whispered pointing down.
There wasa young man next to the bark of the tree. He wore a teal-ish green color and acheerful face. His hair was a deep blue and wore a hat. He was playing the lyre,which had been decorated beautifully with white flowers and fresh leaves. Thesong, however, was quite familiar. I use to hear this every day. My mom usedthis song to welcome the broad daylight.
"He looks like a lyre player, "said Glitch,looking closely at the surroundings.
"We better get out of here; Otherwise, wewill get caught... wake up Viv while I find a way out."
I woke Viv alarming himto keep quiet. Then Glitch swiftly and gently got out of the tree and slowlycrawled in the grass. She signaled us to come, so I insisted Viv go first.When he reached it was my turn...
"I just can't" I whispered to them
"I need toknow how he knows this song". I got down from the tree and went up to him.
"Hellomister," I said
"Hi! You guys finally woke up!" He said looking at Glitch and Vivcrawl.
"All my work wasted," said Glitch, grumpily.
"My name is Venti, or you cancall me V! What's your name?" "My name E- "Wendy!" interrupted Glitch givingme her 'Shut up' face.
"She is Wendy, I am Ranger and he is...umm" "Elan," Said Viv"yes...yes elan...we are adventuring to... Gorgina!"
"Oh, well I am heading there too! Ineed to give these wind whisperers to a merchant there, a trade for apples!"
"Apples?" I said, "Aren't those found everywhere?"
"Well not these," he saidpulling out an apple.
For some reason, it looked fresh and bright red. Therewas a beautiful scent coming from the apple and it also sparkled a beautifulred.
"Wow," said Viv "so this must be Qwalinda Apples my father talked about!""That's right! These apples are the tastiest in Serus! I only have one but Iwill get more from the merchant!" "Wait, Can I take a closer look?" I asked
"Sure! Here!".
Venti came closer to me to show the apple, I felt his braidstouch my shoulders and...well...I froze!
"Okay that is enough" Said Glitch,protecting me
"I think we all got a good look at that apple. We all just needto go to the forest...keep.in. mind"
"Ranger's right, the faster we reach theforest the closer we can go to meet the red archers," Viv said, running to themeadows followed by Venti then Glitch, and well me (I was just so shocked atwhat happened!)
