Chapter 6: Weird Sensation

We walked to the green grassy beautiful meadows; Venti was playing his lyre as we walked. Viv was brightly talking with Venti while Glitch, well was protecting me. 

"I saw what happened to you when he got closer!" Glitch whispered to me

 "You got to keep track of our job and focus on what's coming!" 

"I got it! You don't need to tell me all the time. It was just an incident; it won't happen again" I whispered back to her.

 It grew nightfall but Venti did not want to rest "Guys, I think we can get past the night by riding on XZOs," he said pointing to skeleton horses. 

"won't they hurt us?" I asked, unsure 

"They are friendly beings, besides they only eat fireflies," said Viv climbing on one with the help of Venti. The Glitch also took a horse and rode on it. I tried to go on a horse but it did not work. 

"Here, let me help," said Venti as he helped me get on the horse. I felt his delicate and soft hand on my hand and started to blush. 

"There!" he said putting me on the horse "Ahh!" 

"Ugh, Wendy, for once, WHY DID YOU NOT LEARN HOW TO HORSE RIDE? "Glitch exclaimed, mad 

"Because I don't like horse riding! I rather read books..." I spoke.

 "Well then, I help you!" Said Venti getting on my horse 

"You just hold on to me, okay?". 

We rode the whole night away, but unfortunately, I did not open my eyes. 

I was just too scared! I just kept on holding to Venti the whole time as we rode. 

We stopped at sunrise because the horses had to go. We said goodbye to them and continued to walk.

 "I am tired," said Viv, yawning. 

"Well, the young man does need some rest," I said picking up sleepy Viv. 

"Let's take a nap, it would be good for us" 

"There is a camp in the distance, how about we go there to rest?" Glitch said looking around. 

We walked to the camp, where we met a friendly old lady, who let us sleep there. Venti took Viv and rapped him with the leaves in the hut and slept near him. I, on the other hand, slept on the other side next to Viv. Glitch went out of the hut saying that she rather not sleeps.

 I woke up to be surprised that Venti woke me up. I was so scared when he did. He was so close to me 

"Wendy, Viv's sick," he said checking him again. After I recovered from what just happened, I went to Viv and checked on him too 

"He does look sick, maybe because of exaggerating," I said going out to get help from the old lady Venti came to "Of course, I will help, your child is in safe hands"

 "Child!?" me and Venti gasped 

"No, no he is not our child... He is our friend..."

 "Ya, he is," we said 

"Oh, sorry young ones, I did not know. I will bring the remedy right away!" The lady left leaving me and Venti blushing. 

"Well, at least we got help," Said Venti who looked red. 

"Ya," I said, not realizing that I was red too. 

We both went to the camp looking at poor Viv. He was a high fever! I went close to him and calmed him down for a while...which calmed down me. Venti was sitting on the corner looking helpless. 

"Poor Elan, He has to take care of the pain inside alone." He spoke.

 The old lady came back with a deer. It was not any deer from the forest it was magical. It was made of the bark of the trees and glowed and shined sparkles where it went. It came close to Viv and touched his forehead and... Something magical Happened! Viv was okay! He was smiling and playing with the deer and showed no signs of having a fever!!

The glitch came back after a while "I did a lot of hunting! And I got Food!". We made food and ate it (not as tasty as the palace food!) and said goodbye to the old lady.
