"Violetta?!" He called
"Yes sir?" I said coming back to his office.
"Did you clean Silvia's uniform?"
"Yes sir"
"Did you make breakfast?"
"Yes sir"
"Do you mind driving her to practice?"
"No sir"
"Okay then go tell her and take her you do remember where the gym is right?"
"Yes sir but didn't she want you to take her?"
"She did but i have work"
"Oh okay" i said before walking out.
I'd been working for the Hemmings family for about 3 years.
Luke or Mr.Hemmings was a wealthy business man with his sweet 9 year old daughter Silvia. Mr.Hemmings got divorced a month ago but he didn't seem to care he focused more on work than he did on his now ex wife.
I admit i was disappointed in him for forgetting such a lovely woman so easily.
Her name was Carla. Carla had long dark brown hair with beautiful brown eyes.
Carla was always so sweet to me she would help me out with dishes or help me make dinner.
Whenever i did something wrong Carla took the blame but i rarely ever did anything wrong. Mr.Hemmings paid well. I never needed as much money he paid me but it wasn't all for cleaning i'd babysit and cook dinner and did laundry.
"Silvia?" I called out as i entered her room.
"Can you help me with my bow?" She asked i smiled softly and tied the bow into her hair.
"What if i fall?" She asks
"You're an amazing flyer don't worry you'll do wonderful" i say rubbing her shoulders.
"I hope so thank you is daddy taking me to practice?"
"Mr.Hemmings is very busy so i'll be taking you instead" i say picking up her bag.
"Does this mean i can sit in the front?" She asks i nod and smile as i take her to my car.
"Why is your car so old Vi?" She asks.
"Its vintage"
"What year is it from?"
"1967"
"What kind of car is it?"
"A chevy impala"
"Why did you want it?"
"I love this TV show called Supernatural and i was in love with the car so I got one" i laughed
"But aren't you in love with Michael?" She asks Michael was my fiancé.
"well of course i am i'm not really in love with the car its just my baby you know?" I say focusing on the road.
"Oh when is the wedding?"
"I'm not sure Michael is very busy lately."
"With what?"
"Designing he's working on a game at the moment you remember his job right?" I ask
"Yes its very hard"
"It is but as long as we have money to pay our rent"
"Oh here we are" she says as i stop in the parking lot.
Soon as we get in we sit down and i help her put on her nikes and take off her jacket
"Go get em" i say hugging her before she goes off.
Silvia is a lot like Luke she has blue eyes and long straight hair. Shes lanky and tall. the kid was 9 and already 5 foot. Silvia had brown hair and really long legs which is why she was a flyer she was too tall to be a base much taller than the other kids in her level. Silvia was also very skinny i always tried to feed her a little extra because she was barley 80 pounds.
"Did you see me? I finally landed right!" She says coming back after practice "i saw you're very good"i say smiling before helping her with her jacket and uggs.
Soon after we arrived home and she took a shower she fell asleep.
"Mr.Hemmings?" I say walking into his office.
"Oh uh Violetta do you mind shredding these papers for me?" He asks pointing to the paper shredder and stack of old papers. I nod and start working on the pile.
"Uh i hope you don't mind but Silvia insists we get you a uniform"
"Oh well whats it look like?"
"I'm not sure she didn't want you to ruin your clothes uh the uniform is in the living room when you're about to leave just take it and wear it tomorrow i haven't seen it yet"
"Oh well okay" i say. I quickly finished and stood up
"Okay i'm finished Mr.Hemmings i'm going to get going now goodnight" i say leaving he nods and i walk to the living room and grab the small pink bag before leaving the house.
