Frozen Heat (YAOI)

New House

Agni POV

Where am I? I look over an isolated land, blood and guts cover the ground. Some places were scorched over with fire, and some were frozen over with ice. I start walking over to someone, they move their mouth but I can't hear what their saying. I stare at them and I realize they look a lot like Rin. They look older, with longer hair, they have a sad, and desperate look on their face. It makes my heart ache.

He looks down at me and starts to attack me, he almost slashes my side with ice. I dodge but I still get cut, and I burn his shoulder in return. I yell something back at him, but yet again I cannot hear. Ice flashes into front of me showing me my reflection. An older version is in front of me, with big bushy hair. Blood running down my face from previous injuries. I quickly jump back, I pick up my sword and rush at him breaking through the ice and he rushes at me. We collide and I pierce him through his stomach. I laugh but then quickly cough feeling blood run down my chin. Ice pierced me through my stomach as well. I look up at him, I see him smiling. He talks once again and all I can make out this time is 'I love you.'

I wake up in a cold sweat. I feel someone's hands on my shoulders. "H-Huh?"

"Baby! Are you okay? You were screaming and your sleep. You wouldn't wake up and I got worried!" Mom says

"Hey, mom its okay. I'm okay. I just had a bad dream!" I say trying to comfort her

'A bad dream about people dying and fighting someone' I think to myself

"Okay.... If you say so Agni, but you gave your father and I quite a scare" Mom says looking into the hallway at my dad

He grunts and walks away. "Well if you're hungry-"

"I'm not hungry mom"

She nods kissing me on the forehead. I go to brush my teeth and take a shower. Once I get out I get changed and got to the living room. I people people moving our furniture and things out our house. "Dad, what's happening?"

"We're moving." he says not looking at me at all

"Sometimes it feels like we're not close at all dad."

He looks at me up and down before sighing "Go to school, your mom will call you and tell you where we are eating tonight and also tell you where our new house is."

He pats me on the head and walks outside. I follow behind him. Rin is not here and I turn to mom for answers. She mentions that I can choose to go to school or not, but she told the school that I had a family matter. I just had to help move things along. After we were finished mom and dad went somewhere and left me home alone. I had a whole day to myself, but I don't know what to do. Well I do want to see Rin.

I check my phone to see Rin's text:

Bastard Ice King: Agni~ Are u okay?

Bastard Ice king: I miss you~.

Me: Wanna skip school?

Bastard Ice king: Already am, my mom excused me so I could look at colleges

Me: Isn't it to early for that?

Bastard Ice King: Exactly! Anyway where r u rn?

I look at my surroundings and text him my location.

Me: I'm by the gaming café, at the ice cream shop.

Bastard Ice King: Be Right there~ My Fire king~💕💕💕

I roll my eyes at his message, chuckling to myself. He's so cringe. I wait for his arrival, until then I get myself a snack. As I take a handful of chips and stuff them in my mouth I feel someone's eyes on me. I've been feeling them for a while. The past few days I've been having this creepy feeling. I look around for anyone suspicious. suddenly I feel hands on my shoulders. Startled I punch the air behind me. I see Rin behind me with with a surprised look.
