(NOT PROOF READ!! once again, i'm mad tired so ima jus proof read ts when i wake up tmrw🫶🏽)

the girl let out a small sigh, slightly tilting her head back as she gulped down the last few sips of her Arizona Iced Tea before tossing it down on the cement floor beneath her.

she had her AirPods in her ears, blasting music through her eardrums to blur out the loud chatter around her.
she nodded her head to the song, 'Martin & Gina' a song created by her older brother, Taurus.

out of all the amazing songs her brother had made, 'Martin & Gina' had always been one of her personal favourites.

"when is this bus gonna board?" she felt a tap on her shoulder as the question was asked, causing her head to quickly snap in the direction of the contact.

she pulled an airpod from her ear, coming face to face with a lightskin boy that looked around her age, wrapped up in a large Moncler Jacket with his hands stuffed in the pockets. his dyed blue dreads fell over his eyes and he occasionally lifted his right hand to tuck them back into his hoodie.

the boy offered her a quick kind smile before his face fell into a mug.
"when's the bus boarding?" he repeated, his teeth clattering together as his body visibly shivered.

y/n held back a giggle. she understood it was a bit chilly out, but it wasn't that cold.
maybe he's new here.

she shrugged her shoulders, glancing back at the bus the two of them were currently in a line to board.
"i'm not sure," she told him. "in the next 5 to 10 minutes, i assume."

the boy sniffled, using his sleeve to wipe under his nose that was coloured a deep shade of red.
he groaned loudly at y/n's words, causing a few people around to look in their direction.
he didn't seem to care though.
y/n guessed he was a social character,  making conversation with anyone around him.

she admired his bravery, but she could never see herself being that kind of person.

"i hate the bronx," he muttered. "hate this shit."
y/n raised her eyebrows, taking the other AirPod out of her ear and putting both of her airpods in the case.
the conversation seemed like it was going to drag on so she wanted to make sure her full attention was on the boy.

"did you just move here?" she asked, putting her hands in her jacket pockets as a heavy mist of wind hit her.
the boy shook his head, jaw clenching to stop the annoying sound of his teeth clattering.

"i was born here." he replied. "but i hate it."
y/n laughed softly, nodding her head in understanding.
when she had first moved here from Chicago she had disliked it a lot too. until she met Kaylyn and Marius, that is.

"my name is cblu," he suddenly said making y/n furrow her eyebrows.
"my name's y/n." she replied. "is cblu your real name?"

he sucked his teeth, eyeing her up and down.
"why you being so federal?"

y/n rolled her eyes, slightly tilting her head at 'cblu'.
"i'm just asking you if cblu is your real name, how is that federal?"

cblu huffed, smacking his lips. "my name is Camrin, but you gon call me Cblu."

y/n nodded, pressing her lips together firmly trying her best to let his unnecessary attitude slide.
"okay, cblu."
