Harry had decided that they’d spend their honeymoon in East Asian because he wanted to experience their culture and he secretly knew Tom too wanted to visit East India because of their ties to snakes and parcelmouths. Harry was excited for the vacation and all the sight seeing they would do. Tom too was excited, Harry could see in his body language even if Tom wanted everyone to believe he was emotionless statue, he always could see things and understand Tom the way no one ever could, the same was for Tom.

“Is everything packed and ready, Harry?” he asked him with a raised brow. Harry rolled his eyes at Tom. “Of course, I packed everything. And even if we forget something, we can always buy from a nearby store in India.” he retorted.

Tom just sighed. He knew they’d forget something. It always happened when they plan small trips, but this was a big one and if he said anything more, Harry would whine at him about it for hours after, about not trusting him and all.

Shrinking the luggage which they could shrink, and putting it all in a pouch with extension charms on it, both of them grasped an old leather boot which was their portkey to Delhi and waited for it to activate. Suddenly the floor beneath them disappeared, it felt like they were squeezed into a very small tube and finally landed on their feet in the designated portkey area. Tom quickly caught Harry from falling and held him for few minutes and Harry slowly gained his lost equilibrium. “I hate portkeys!!” he whined at his husband.

“I know Harry, you say the same about apparition too.” Tom remarked.

After eating some refreshments and checking into their hotel, where they made a reservation, both set out to explore a new city. They visited Red Fort first and then made their way to the Taj Mahal, Indira Museum, Qutub Minar, Parliament House and finally Lotus Temple. For lunch they ate at a restaurant famous for the special Indian curries and had dinner in their hotel. During their whole day, Harry did everything to not laugh at Tom. They had to act for the sake of Indian muggles as two friends enjoying a vacation and not a married couple on their honeymoon.

When they reached their hotel room, Harry looked at Tom With a grin, “You know Tom, I think you stay like that this from now on.”

Tom looked confused at first, not understanding what was funny, he was quite confused while sight seeing when Harry looked like he was trying not to laugh. Shaking his head, he walked into the bathroom. When he looked up from the ground at the mirror on the opposite wall of the door, he screamed.

Harry lost the battle, and fell on the floor laughing his arse off. “Harry Potter, why didn’t you tell me!” Tom screeched at his husband’s laughing form. There in the mirror was a very pink Tom Riddle. A very pink Tom Riddle who was turning red in either embarrassment or anger, Harry didn’t know. Tom stomped towards Harry, who had stopped laughing and looking at Tom with mirth and amusement with a big grin on his face.

“I am married to shrimp, did you know?” Harry teased.

And Tom had enough, and pounced on Harry, tickling him till Harry begs to be left alone, panting hard. Joining their foreheads, Harry looks at Tom and whispers, “I love you.” Tom smiles against his wishes, giving a toe-curling kiss to his husband.

“I love you, too.” Tom whispers back and once again joined their lips.
