Oblivious (The 100)

One

Lincoln is tending to Octavia's wound while teaching the two girls the grounder language. Kara was getting a hang on the language pretty easily but Octavia is taking a little longer to get a hang of it, not that Kara could blame her cause she was still hurt.

"Si laik Karakom skaikru en ai gaf gouthru klir." Kara spoke as Lincoln smiled brightly as he then looked to Octavia waiting for her to do it as well.

"Ai laik Okteivia kom skaikru en ai gaf gouthru klin."

"Klir, not klin. Gouthru klir. Again." Lincoln tells Octavia making her go again.

"Ai laik Okteivia kom skaikru en ai gaf gouthru klir. Why do we even have to learn this? You speak English." Octavia asks as she gets frustrated.

"Only our warriors speak English. When we get to the sea, you need to sound like one of us."

"Then we have time. Tell me about this one." Kara said as she sat next to Octavia.

"A statue near my village. A place we go to settle disputes."

"Stop stalling and pull it out. No warning? Nothing? I take it back. No warning is better. Ahh. Oh, my God." Lincoln then yanks the arrow out.

"Poison." He said as he was examining the arrow.

"I'm guessing this means you don't have the antidote?" Kara asked as she could tell by his face that she already knew that answer.

"No. I gave it to Raven to save Finn." He explained to her.

"So, we go back." She said because she wasn't willing to let her sister die without a fight.

"It's too far." He said shaking his head.

"It's further to the sea." She argued to him.

"Damn it." He said as he knew they were in a tough position. Lincoln then comes up with an idea and Kara knew what he was thinking.

"Lincoln, we are not going back to your village. You know what they to traitors." She told him not wanting him to risk it.

"Kara."

"Death by a thousand cuts. Every single member of your clan will take a turn stabbing you, and then they'll feed you to the bugs. it's what you told me." She told him trying to convince him not to go.

"Here. Take this. Here. Hey. I will be right back."

"Lincoln, where are you going?" She asked him confused.

"The antidote. It comes from the beetles that feed on the river moss. You're gonna feed on the beetles. It'll work." He leaves and then all of a sudden Octavia starts to scream and Lincoln runs towards them.

"I don't know what's happening, one second she was fine, and the next she's not." Kara explained to Lincoln as she was concerned.

"Octavia. Octavia. What is it? Hey. What- what's wrong? What- Wait, wait, wait. Hey!"

"I saw a man. It was- it was a- a monster."

"It's the poison. You're burning up. We have to hurry. I know what we have to do." Lincoln then lifts Octavia up.

"What are you doing? Where are we going?" Kara asked Lincoln as she follows him.

"Just hold on."

"Ai laik okteivia kom skaikru en ai gaf gouthru klir."

"Once more. Come on, say it. Come on." Lincoln said as he was hoping she would stay awake.

"Ai laik okteivia kom skai- you know, you still haven't even told us where we're going."

"Can't you smell it? We're almost to the sea." Lincoln said as Kara looked at her sister worried.

"No, I can't smell anything. Kara, I'm scared." Lincoln and Kara look at each other and they both start to run and finally they get to their destination.

"Now sleep. I'll be back with the antidote as soon as I can." Lincoln said as he went to get up Kara grabbed his arm.

"You brought us to your village?" She asked him as she looked around their surroundings as she was worried.

"I won't let your sister die." Lincoln said as she goes to leave.

"Lincoln, Lincoln!" She yelled getting his attention.

"Hey, hey."

"They'll kill you." Kara said not wanting him to get killed.

"Hey. Only if they catch me. Stay alive. And stay quiet." He says then he starts to walk towards his village.

"Kara, I'm scared." Octavia says from beside her as Kara looked over at her sister seeing the fear behind her eyes.

"Hey, we'll fight this together. You know what they say about two sisters?" Kara asked and she just shakes her head no.

"They say that when sisters stand shoulder to shoulder, who stands a chance against them?" She said and she just smiles and finally fall asleep after a while of talking. Kara and Octavia have only had each other and Bellamy. It's always been the three of them and every since the attack now they only have each other.
