CHAPTER 9: RIPLEY

" Sergent Connor, this is Lieutenant Ripley, she has a background history with the aliens and she would like to help," said Conrad.

James walked up to her and shook her hand, " Welcome welcome welcome, I was hoping someone with brains about these things would help, but they're all pussies, can't go to the bathroom without their mommy."

" Agreed, so, I hear you have a love one in captive, correct me if I'm wrong," said Ripley.

" That's a bunch of bull shit, I'm never going to have one in captive, not on my watch,"

" Good,"

" Alright gentlemen, I want to introduce you to Lieutenant Ripley, she is here to help, not to be our bitch," said James, "you take it from here Ripley."

" Thank you," she said, " there is something you all need to know about these bastards. I'm sure you have already found this out, but these thing will not stop to be the dominant species on any world. Their minds are set to kill and reproduce. Now, there are only about twenty five of you left ready to fight these things, but there is no way you can only use guns to kill them," said Ripley.

" NO SHIT SHERLOCK," yelled one of the men.

" So you know that. But I have a suggestion,"

" Then say it Ripley," said James.

" Target the nest, you destroy the nest and queen, you destroy the species," she said with a glare.

" Okay men, you've heard enough. Grab your shit you need and go kill these things," said James to the crowd turning towards Ripley, " I take it you won't have one last fight with these bastards,"

" And that is where you're wrong," Ripley said with a devious smile, " I'll gladly join,"

" Good, go get ready," he said as she left to grab her stuff, " Better watch out Aliens, we're coming for you," and James walked away and gathered with his men.

James stepped out of his plane. He was standing right above the nest. He walked back on and grabbed a tracker for himself, a rifle, body armor, and radio to call for backup. He was going on a solo mission, his men didn't know where he was. He sprinted to the man hole nearest to the nest. He crawled down the hole and into the sewers.

He landed just a few yards away from the nest, the stench of dead human bodies hung in the air. Dismissing the smell he walked into the nest, gun at the ready, pointed in front of him. Step by step, he made his way closer to the human hosts. His fallen friend's, Conrad's, body was on the wall, plastered in with a hole in his chest.

" Poor man, may he rest in peace," said James to himself.

There was no sign of any Alien anywhere to be found, but he kept walking. He came across a large bag looking thing.

" This must be the queen's egg sack, that means we've got a queen running around," he paused," and a new one somewhere, maybe more than one. Mother fucking shit,"

He heard a hiss and turned around and saw an odd looking Alien, not the queen. He raised his gun and repeatedly pulled the trigger until the creature was dead. The Aliens were reproducing through more than just humans; dogs, cats, all animals were able hosts.

" This just got a whole lot more difficult,"

The nest was abandoned except for the one alien he encountered. He exited the nest and went up to his plane to fly back to his team and Ripley.

" We have a very big problem," yelled James from down the hall. He ran into the room," the first nest has been abandoned and we have two queens running around for sure, there could be more," said James to Ripley in particular, "They're also reproducing through more than humans,"

" I've seen that happen before. I crashed on a prison planet and an alien was put into a dog, vicious thing. They will have different behaviors than the ones from humans," said Ripley.

" How many queens do you think are out there," asked one of the new members of the team.

" No idea, and I try not to think about it," said James.

" Well then, the apochalypse has officially begun," said Ripley," there is no hope every human on the east coast will survive, but we have big weapons. We can kill 'em," she said as she walked out the door.
