"Remind me again why we are all here?" Jude Hamilton sighed as he leaned against the wall of the hotel hallway.

His older siblings looked at him with blank stares, clearly tired of responding to the same question multiple times.

"Once again Judy we're here because uncle Lewis needs us right now. You saw how he locked himself away in LA for the whole of December, even Christmas, because of what happened. So we need to remind him that we're always behind him and supporting him."
Halle spoke up as she aggressively knocked on her parents door.

The older of the Knowles-Hamilton siblings simply nodded in agreement to his sister, obviously concerned with other things. More specifically with the way his sister kept checking the time on her phone. Something that his younger brother noticed, thus sending him a questioning look before tilting his head towards their sister in a silent question.

"That's all cool but uhm why are you so anxious and impatient. Usually we'd all be waiting outside your door but today..."
Jude let his question hang in the air, signalling that it was more rhetorical than direct. But Halle's glare had him regretting opening his mouth and made him stand up straight in fear.

"Well some of us were promised food if we arrived on time and uncle Lewis set up a lunch for me to meet Sebastian Vettel!"
The actress punctuated her sentence with an excited squeal. Her brothers clearly grimacing at the sound.

"Wait, so you get food and we get nothing? But we're the ones that had to physically drag him off the plane when he got back to England!"
Algee exclaimed.

Algee was possibly the one closest to his uncle, therefore he was heartbroken for him when things went the way they did back in December. He'd also been the only one besides their grandfather to get access to Lewis during the winter break. The things he'd seen would haunt him for life.

Before Halle could respond and potentially start a fight, the door to their parents room opened, revealing two annoyed adults.

"Hello children. Riddle me this why are you at my door, knocking like the goddam police, when I explicitly told you to meet us at the circuit!?"
Genevieve Knowles-Hamilton scolded her children.

The Houston native looked like she was about to explode. She and her husband were going to enjoy a slow morning, with no kids to bother them, and eventually have lunch at the private club looking over the circuit whilst the drivers wrapped up Free practice. But of course her children never followed plans and here they were.

"When did we agree to that?"
Jude asked with a pout and raised eyebrow, a sign of his confusion.

"Check your bloody text messages sometimes and maybe you'll find out."
Their father rebutted, holding his wife's arms down to stop her from slamming the door on their kids faces.

"What texts!"
The siblings replied as they pulled out their respective phones.

"The ones on the groupchat!"
Their mother shot back with an angry sigh.

The weather in Bahrain did her no good as she'd just spent a whole month in the cold of Houston, and now she was no longer used to desert like heat.

"Oooh. Yea, I put that groupchat on mute forever."
Halle mumbled as she scrolled down the messages in the chat.

"Oh my god, you guys got a new cat without consulting us."
Algee asked as he read his mom's weekly updates in the chat.

"Bro they renovated the whole kitchen while we were away!"
Jude responded in shock.
