"You really don't need to be here."
Lewis told his niece, clearly exasperated.

He knew that she was here because his family was concerned about his mental health. He'd been avoiding his mother's calls and lying to his brothers, claiming that he was fine. But they all saw through the facade and tasked his eldest niece with pulling him out of his slump.

"I know. But I just finished filming and I have nothing better to do. Besides I needed to make a stop in Paris. So I thought why not see my dear uncle."
The actress replied without looking up from her laptop.

She was finishing up her thesis, after 3 long years of part time studying she was finally going to graduate with a degree in Arts and Sciences.

"First of all that's a lie, I know your father sent you here in exchange for a solo summer vacation. Which we both know will never happen. And secondly you have a final paper to submit so you can get that degree. Which by the way is very important because-"

"I'm the first person in both families to graduate college. I know. I find it so ironic that none of you went to college, despite having the means to do so."
The singer sighed, finally looking at her uncle as he ate a vegan protein bowl whilst scrolling through his twitter feed.

"It's because we were too busy breaking glass ceilings and setting records."
The driver said through a mouth full of quinoa and chickpeas.

"Okay then!"
Halle rolled eyes. Feeling confident in her work the actress submitted her paper. Finally standing up, she yawned as she stretched.

"I'm going to head out to the paddock club for some coffee, I'll be back before you get in the car for free practice 2."

"What's wrong with the hospitality coffee?"
Lewis asked, confused as he'd never drank the coffee provided by the team but had never heard any complaints from the team.

"It tastes like aunt Bey's attempt at a lasagne. And I refuse to be traumatized any further."
The duo shuddered at the thought of Beyoncé's failed attempts at cooking. Both families had agreed to never let her cook again without careful supervision and a thorough recipe.

"Fair. Go ahead. You don't need to come back for the practice, I'll most likely stay in the data room until late so just go home after practice. And remember, no talking to boys!"

Halle rolled her eyes as she collected her things, stopping to kiss her uncle on the forehead before bidding him goodbye. As soon as she stepped out of the Mercedes building she pulled on her headphones, hoping to drown out the noise of the paddock.

The actress chuckled as she spotted a familiar head of brown curls standing outside of the Ferrari garage.

Almost as if he could sense her nearby, the boy that had been plaguing her thoughts for weeks, looked her way. His stare was intense as they looked at each other from a distance.

She was so entranced that she didn't notice someone's hand pulling her headphones off her head.

"Pray tell dear sister, why is Ferrari's golden boy looking at you like he could eat you up right now. In fact you're giving him the exact same look. What is going here?"
A familiar voice resonated in her ears.

"Jude!"
The older Hamilton squeaked in fear, clutching her chest at the surprise of her brothers sudden appearance.

"Yes it's me. Now answer the question before I go over there and ask him myself, and potentially beat his ass. Or I can even tell uncle Lewis, who would ram him into the wall of the tunnel during the race. It's your choice."
