One day as Regulus sat at the local cafe drinking from his usual mug and reading a book James decides to confront him so he walked over the curly boy's table and sat across from him. "Sorry but this table is taken!" Regulus said not looking up. "Reggie...?" James asked and this made Regulus look up. He looked scared and he quickly gets up and rushed to get his stuff together. "I thought you were dead..." James said. "I'm sorry but I must go before he gets angry at me...!" He said before storming away in fear.
Of course James just sat there confused. He who is he? He questioned himself but only he would find out soon that he was Dumbledore out of all people. James go and tell Sirius and Remus about what happened they were also as confused as James about what Regulus meant and thought that maybe Regulus was in trouble and came to the small village to live in secret and faked his death but then why did he come to any of them? They were all so confused and what made it worst was the war still happening at home but they didn't know that Regulus was behind all the strings of killing the Dark Lord by getting the Horcux to kill him.
Regulus was scared that if Dumbledore found out that he would do something to hurt him or worse kill him. Regulus was so scared he would sit by the window and would watch to see who drove or walked by. He was becoming paranoid every second to the point he didn't eat nor slept he didn't even leave the house but then by the third day he realized that Dumbledore wasn't coming so he went and ate then after he slept like a baby.
The next day he went to the local cafe shop praying that he wouldn't see James or the others when he got to the cafe shop and luckily nobody that he was worried about was there so he got coffee in his usual mug finds a table and read a book just trying to relax. After some time he saw James along with Sirius and Remus in seeing them Regulus his himself behind his book but somehow the other three found him.
"Regulus you better start explaining!" He heard Sirius yell. Regulus hushed him then he grabbed his stuff and said "I'll explain outside!" They followed the short boy outside. "Now explain yourself!" Sirius yelled but not as loud as the last time. "I wish I could but I'm not suppose to be talking to any of you!" He said as he looked around paranoid. "I'm sorry but I really need to go!" Regulus said before running off the opposite way of the other three to his small home. But Regulus didn't know that the other three followed him to his small house.
Regulus locks the door then rushed to his room the he started to lock all his doors and windows then he puts down his blinds after he sit in a chair in the dark living room with his wand in his hand looking at the door. When he heard a knock he quickly gets up to his feet getting his wand into a protective stance. "Who is it?!" He yelled. "It's your brother!" Sirius yelled back. He sighed in relief. "Go away please! I don't want him to hurt us!" Regulus yelled. "Reggie, who are you talking about?" He heard James ask.
In a quiet voice he said "Dumbledore."
