Your POV

Sitting in the armchair on the weekend the sun was shining into the room from the large window next to me. My eyes dancing along the page of my latest book. Smiling to myself as the door opened.

"Have you thought of a date yet, love?"

"Not since the last time you asked. Have you?"

"I told you I was leaving the decision up to you."

Snapping the book closed my (e/c) eyes move over to the clad black Professor.

"Why don't we have it as the same day the Yule Ball was?"

He thinks for a moment and nods gently.

"That sounds perfect."

He stands and kisses my forehead, kneeling next to me as he puts his hand on my stomach. Rubbing it with his thumb for a moment before he smiles to himself.

"Did you decide on a name?"

"I have, but you can't know until she's born."

"She?"

"It's just a feeling."

He chuckles slightly and nods as he stands again. It's been a few months, I'm now five months pregnant. With the unplanned pregnancy, we've had to push the wedding forward.

Word has gotten around the school rather quickly about it too, and a few students have started calling me Professor Snape.

"What are you smiling about?" He asks as he raises a brow at me and helps me up slightly.

"A couple students started calling me Professor Snape."

He pulls me into him gently as he looks at me. Kissing my knuckles his dark eyes look between mine.

"I really like the sound of that."

"I hope so, since it'll be my name whether you like it or not."

He leans down to kiss me hungrily, softening it after a moment as he holds my waist. Pulling away from the kiss I smile.

"Do you want to know about the decorations?"

"Why would I when I'll be too busy looking at you."

Sighing as I blush he chuckles gently, heading to the kitchen as I follow.

"At least humor me"

He only nods as he gets a few things from the fridge. Starting on something for lunch.

"I was thinking of having stars in the ceiling of the great hall, roses to match our houses, I wasn't going to have any bridesmaids so I won't have to worry about dress colors. But for my gown you'll have to wait for that."

He hums gently. "Isn't that a Muggle tradition?"

"It'll be ours now too."

He sighs gently as he nods. "I'll try to contain my eagerness"

There was a pause for a moment as I watched him move around in the kitchen, he's been doting on me more than ever since we've found out about the baby.

"Should be get rings for the ceremony?"

He shakes his head.

"I have my father's in my Gingotts vault. I can have Hagrid pick it up for me."

Nodding gently I smile to myself, spinning the ring on my own finger as I look at him. He raises a brow before I shake my head and he sighs gently. Deciding to join me for lunch.

"You never did say how things with the ministry went"

"Nothing to tell really, it was no different than Harry's trial"

Nodding gently as I look at him for a moment I shrug slightly and smile as I eat my food. Thinking about going down to the stores to see if there was anything that was needing refilled, it's been a minute since I've been down to look at them since the news.

"I don't want you in the stores by yourself"

"Stay out of my head, and I'll be fine."

He growls lightly. "I don't want either of you getting hurt. You know the latter is weak."

Humming slightly I sigh. "then let me go with you."

"That's fine."

Getting ready for bed I smile to myself as I look at myself in the mirror, putting my hands on my stomach I hum slightly. I jump slightly as another pair of hands come out and wrap around mine. Looking up to see Severus as he kisses my shoulder I lean into him.

"What house do you think she'll be in?"

"Maybe we can put the sorting hat on your stomach and see."

I laugh gently. "Do you think that would work?"

Pulling the blankets back he shrugs gently as we get into bed.

"I don't think anyone has tried before. It might work."

"I don't think anyone else has been pregnant here before."

"The ghosts might be able to tell you, but it was never a student to my knowledge. If a boy tries to get into the girls dorm the stairs turn into a slide."

"That sounds fun."

He shakes his head gently as he kisses me gently. Laying down I smile to myself as I play the name of the baby in my head, my hand on Severus as if he e we as guarding both of us.
