Raditz: Father said he was sending Kakarot to earth so he could live peacefully there. Of course, kakarot is weak, but we can still train him up.
Rootaba: Hmm, yes, that reminds me of my cousin his name was Broly, but unfortunately, King Vegeta had plans to send him off because he was stronger than vegeta.
Vegeta: I heard about that. Wasn't he sent to Vampa? Was it?
Rootaba: Yeah, he was, and so was my uncle Paragus because he wanted to stay with Broly. But for all I know, they could be dead by now.
Raditz: Did you ever think about going to see if they were still alive?
Rootaba: Did you ever think about going to see if Kakarot was still alive and if he got any stronger?
Raditz: fair point.....
Vegeta: (internally) I wonder if my pathetic brothers are still alive. Rigor, Tarble, If you are both still alive, then I hope to see you stronger one day. AHHH, who am I kidding there dead? I don't even know why I care.
Raditz: What's wrong, Prince Vegeta? You're oddly quiet?
Vegeta: Nothing Raditz, I'm fine. Just go to sleep. Rootaba and I are as well.
Raditz: Very well. (As he drifts off to sleep)
Rootaba: (Internally replaying a memory from his past)
Bardock: Very good, Rootaba. Your plan of attack is coming along well. But let's keep going. You were close to tapping into that power I've been seeing glimpses of.
Rootaba: right master Bardock.
Bardock: Good, that's the spirit.
(2 days before the destruction of planet vegeta)
Bardock: You know if I was your father, I'd be more than proud to call you my son. One day, you, raditz, vegeta, and kakarot are going to make me and the king proud. (Patting rootaba on the head)
Rootaba: Thanks Master I will.
Bardock: Alright, ready to do one more sparing match before your next mission?
Rootaba: Yeah, let's do this.
(By this point, Bardock has already seen part of the future where Goku and Rootaba are fighting Frieza and Cooler)
(After the sparing match)
Rootaba: Master look I did it
Bardock: You did it, You actually did it. You harnessed the power I was seeing.
(End of flash back)
Rootaba: (Internally) Master why did you sacrifice yourself? You and Ms. Gine could have gone to earth with kakarot. You knew Frieza would destroy planet vegeta, so why did you stay behind and die with the planet?
(In Hell)
Bardock: (Seeing all of coolers minions), so what brought trash down here a scum with a power level of 5? How could you guys have lost to that?
Random Cooler Force grunt: No another saiyan named Rootaba....
Bardock: WAIT, WHAT HES STILL ALIVE?? YESSS MY STUDENT IS GOING TO GO ON TO KILL FRIEZA!!!!!!!!
Gine and King Vegeta: Bardock, what is wrong with you? Why are you so happy all of a sudden?
Bardock: (looks over to them) Well, King vegeta, your son is going to assist Rootaba and Kakarot avenge our race.
King Vegeta: Wait, they're still alive. I thought frieza would have killed them by now. Well, it looks like they have been more important to frieza than we first thought.
Bardock: All I have left to say now is I wish them good luck doing so, and I'm proud of them. (As Bardock starts tearing up)
(Back in space with the saiyan trio)
Rootaba: Good morning. All
Raditz: Man, that was some uncomfortable sleep.
Vegeta: it's because you're not used to getting beaten like that.
Rootaba: Vegeta, stop torturing Raditz. Let's just focus on getting to earth...
Vegeta: Hmmph.
(As Rootaba and Vegetas pods start failing)
Rootaba: What The Hell? What's happening to the pods? Why are they acting up like this?
Raditz: mine is fine. It has some battle damage, but it's not too badly damaged
Vegeta: Yeah, mine is acting up to. I can't control it any longer.
Rootaba: I can't control mine either. Raditz continue to earth, and we will catch up. Once we have fixed our pods, there's a planet right beneath us that isn't under frieza or coolers jurisdiction.
Raditz: Right.
Rootaba: Vegeta, have your pod make an emergency landing on the planet it's the only thing we can do right now.
Vegeta: Alright.
(As Vegeta and Rootaba set their coordinates for right below them)
Raditz: I'll see you guys on earth soon.
