After eating breakfast and taking a shower, and packing up it was around 12. So Olivia thanked the B&B owner and headed out to her car. She just placed her stuff in the passenger seat and took off. About 30 minutes later she passed a green road sign indicating that she was now in Storybrook. She kept on driving until she entered the village limits. She decided to park and walk around, getting a feel for the place, before she tried to find Emma. Or Regina.
The first place she came to was a little diner. She walked in and sat at the counter, on a barstool. Trying to avoid the stares of the other patrons she looked over the menu. The waitress, a tall, dark haired girl walked over from the register and took her order.
"Um I'll just have a soda." She said as the girl, Ruby, wrote it down. She heard whispers and tried not to turn around. Ruby came back with her soda and made small talk, making her feel less isolated.
"So brings you to Storybrook, ma'am?" She asked leaning the counter.
"Please call me Olivia. And I'm actually looking for a friend. Her name is Emma." *And I'm trying to figure out this insane puzzle my mother left me.* she added silently. But she didn't want to seem crazy so she didn't say that part.
"Oh, yeah I know an Emma, I can call her if you want, or just point you in the right direction. How did y'all meet?"
"Oh, I'm from New York, That's where we met." *You're not from New York* her mind added again.
"Ok, well here's Emma's address. Just follow the directions and you'll be fine. It's nice to meet you Olivia." Olivia thanked her and said goodbye, and left the diner. She followed the directions and knocked on the door.
